Classic
By classic, I mean it brings you deeply in and you really feel something. Doesn't matter what, as some reviewers mention, but even for those scoring low, you can tell it pulled them in and made them feel. Ex: one person said it ruined his day and week. Well, if a movie does that, you felt something and that's rare with current day movies we intake by the dozens.
For me, yes the script made some weird choices, but it mirrors real people and the choices we make, that many times turn out so unexpectedly wrong.
Many of the more recent movies can and do entertain, but this one is classic in terms of both its age, epic sets and its ability to pull you into their fallible and tragic lives.
And I have to also add, as it's a factor for the movie's success, it has Brad Pitt at his best.
