Hannah Marks started acting when she was 6 years old, after seeing her mother’s acting reel. And she’s pretty much worked nonstop, from roles in the films “Accepted” and “The Runaways” to the cast of “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.” In fact, just last year she took her first vacation — though she confesses to recording several self-tapes during it.
In recent years, she has also made a (forgive me) mark behind the camera as a filmmaker, beginning with writing and directing “After Everything,” The indie film starred Jeremy Allen White as a young man diagnosed with bone cancer who embarks on a new relationship, premiering at the SXSW Film Festival in 2018.
That same year, she landed the coveted directing job of the film adaptation of John Green’s beloved novel “Turtles All the Way Down.” The story focuses on a teenage girl named Aza (Isabela Merced) struggling with...

Now that Endeavour has ended for good, there are a few obvious places for fans to go in search of more of the crossword-solving, bitter-drinking, classics-quoting Oxford detective. The first are Colin Dexter’s novels, which established the character. The second is the original ITV show Inspector Morse based on those books, which starred John Thaw in the title role for 33 feature-length episodes between 1987 and 2000. Thirdly, there’s sequel Lewis, which continued the story of Morse’s underling Robbie through his own inspector days, and which also ran for 33 episodes, up until 2015. Both are currently streamable on BritBox in the UK and US, as well as Itvx, and PBS Masterpiece.
The likelihood though, is that those three will have already been exhausted by Morse devotees, so here are some recommendations of detective shows with a touch of Endeavour about them, whether it’s a melancholic lead with a brilliant mind,...

Actress, author, and activist Bonnie Wright is stunning in a rare bikini picture. Pic credit: ©ImageCollect.com/Byron Purvis/Admedia
Bonnie Wright first became known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, but as an adult, she uses her platform to be an activist.
Now an author as well as an actress and activist, Bonnie is promoting Secondhand September and showing off her favorite secondhand find.
Sustainability is an important topic for her, so it makes sense that she would spend time trying to get a lot of her items secondhand if possible.
As for her own favorite find, it’s a large green wine glass that likely holds the whole bottle.
She shared a few photos of herself and the glass on her Go Gently brand’s Instagram page, writing, “This still might be my greatest flea market find. A wine glass as big as my face!
