Ryan Bingham, who portrays the character of Walker, is actually a singer-songwriter outside of the show. He has released six studio albums and regularly performs live shows. In 2009 he wrote "The Weary Kind" for the film Crazy Heart (2009). That song went on to win an Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy.
