- This German format is not a series properly speaking, as it has no permanent cast or script continuity, but presents each time a 45 minutes documentary, usually in part presented as a docudrama (not faction, as close to scientific knowledge as possible, but visually attractive), elaborating a specific historical theme, widely varied, often exotic in the sense of a far time (as far back as prehistoric times) and/or place (around the globe), although some episodes fit together well, chronologically or thematically, but always fit to be watched separately. Usually authentic locations are used, as well as scenes from and/or interviews about the scientific research it is based upon.

He also believes that Genghis Khan is buried there in Mongun Taiga. - For 18 years "Speichelbroiss" have been making noise in the Bavarian backwoods. With "Chao Leh" they have written a German-Punk-Hit for Asia. This is a film about the everyday life of a band on a DIY-low-budget tour through Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. - The beginning: black, brown and white chocolate marshmallows are placed on a blue background looking like a world map. They split into three groups sorted by their colour after a little fight, in which for example two white chocolate marshmallows chase a black one to the horizon. With a drum-roll, one leader of each group steps out. They are standing silently in front of each other... Unseen, but clearly to hear, it is bitten into these three chocolate marshmallows. Then it is visible that all three have the same inside despite their different "skin" colours. A children's voice comments this scene with the slogan "We are all alike inside", while a children's hand is stamping it on the picture. Afterwards, more hands 'all with different nationalities' stamp the slogan in 9 different languages on the picture.
