- Milo 55160, Heaven's loneliest and busiest bureaucrat spends his days processing disoriented, confused and angry Newly-Deads. One day he meets a boy named Will, a Near-Dead, someone struggling to stay alive on earth. When Will mysteriously disappears, Milo embarks on a journey through the afterlife that changes him, literally, forever.
- A commercial for the Works Progress Administration. We see hands close up: working, playing, praying, whittling, and strumming. Hands use saws and hammers, lift stones, turn wheels, then write, type, apply a bandage, play a violin, use a compass, and hold a U.S. Treasury note. Hands put a shoe on a customer, shake a thermometer, and count out bills and coins into other waiting hands. A hand places an engagement ring on a finger, buys a movie ticket, and reels in a fishing line. There are multiple images repeating what we've seen. A chicken is basted; other chickens get grain. It's a national celebration.
- Well, that's what it is: a montage of people's legs. White, black, young, old, athletic, fat, male, female, still, jumping, doing ballet you name it. Mostly naked legs (though a few wear shoes), mostly one or two pairs at a time, from just above the knee. A couple shots include a baby.
