- A man's friend, a police officer, is assassinated by gangsters in broad daylight. He discovers that his elder brother works in the same gang and decides to avenge his friend's death by infiltrating the gang.
- Bombay-based Anjali Aggarwal lives a wealthy lifestyle with her mom, Asha, and dad, Ajit, who is the owner of Aggarwal Industries. When Asha challenges Ajit that she can run the business better, he accepts the challenge, and Asha is determined to do better than him. Her plan is to expand into a small island called Manjira located in the Indian Ocean off of Lakhwadeep Islands, and build a factory there. She finds out that the island natives are opposed to any construction of any kind. She decides to send her to-be son-in-law, Shekhar Panchotia, but when he meets with an accident, Anjali goes in his place, flies Uncle D'Silva's plane, films a murder by Gwana and his men, crash-lands, is rescued by Kishan Khanna alias Captain and returned safely to her worried parents, who are grateful to Kishan and they invite him to visit them in Bombay. Kishan does accept their invitation and goes to visit them, rescues Anjali when she is abducted by Gwana and his men, and both fall in love with each other. On the day they are to be engaged to each other, Asha and Shekhar find out that Kishan had only seduced Anjali so that he could get Aggarwal family to change their mind about building a factory in Manjira. Watch what happens when Anjali finds out, and the impact this has on her and on the Aggarwals.
- Concerned about the outbreak of plague in a distant rural village in India, Dr. D.D. Sinha asks a number of prominent doctors to go there and treat the ailing and prevent the disease from spreading. No one except his protégé, Dr. Paras, is prepared to go there. Dr. Paras travels there, works with the villagers to prevent the disease and treats the ailing, and is successful in preventing it's spreading to other communities. He meets with village belle, Lajwanti alias Lajjo, and both fall in love with each other. Paras promises to return back and marry her. Lajjo awaits his return, but he does not return, the villagers taunt her, beat her senseless, she loses her eyesight, is abducted and sold into prostitution. Then one day she gets an unexpected patron, none other Dr. Paras, who is now engaged to Dr. Sinha's daughter, neurologist Manju, and would like to assist Lajjo is getting her sight back. The question is will Lajjo accept any help from a man who betrayed her, and is directly responsible for her present plight?
- The film portrays the decline of human values and relationships and contrasts it by presenting an illustrious example of a boy's innocent love for a neighbourhood tawaif(courtesan). The movie is about a school boy, who is ill-treated by his step mother, and becomes friends with a courtesan neighbour.
