- Simon "The Saint" Templar, a wealthy adventurer and 20th-century Robin Hood, travels the world in his white Volvo P1800S, solving unsolvable problems and righting wrongs.

Now Middle Eastern agents are using Mike to steal the plane, kidnapping his sister Diane. Having rescued Diane, the Saint goes after Mike, getting himself parachuted into unknown territory to fly the Osprey home.
- In Venice, the Saint comes to the aid of Cathy Allardyce when she's found next to the dead body of Prince Ubaldo. He'd been secretly supported by 'Foots' Fortunati, a gangster who'd been using the Prince in several cons. Now Fortunati's out for revenge, because he holds Cathy's father, John, responsible for his brother's death. Templar sets out to save Cathy and her family, and stop Fortunati.

- Lord Cranmore's anxious to sell a family diamond, and Templar rides shotgun when Cranmore's employee and his daughter go to Amsterdam to have the diamond cut. But once there, the diamond's stolen whilst the cutter himself denies ever seeing it.
- The Saint, in Paris, meets a girl who is selling her family's art treasures before someone tries to steal them. Simon doubts her fear and seeks the truth.
- Several weeks after the body of her husband was pulled from the sea, Arlene Fleming receives calls allegedly from him. The Saint discovers the main beneficiary to Fleming's will is his nephew, who seems to be closely involved with his uncle's business rival. Templar tries to talk to the locals about Fleming, but is greeted with hostility; until one of them tells Simon they're convinced; Fleming was murdered.
- Simon combines romance with acute observation when he decides to expose the woman behind a series of audacious jewel thefts in the South of France but by becoming involved, he finds himself arrested and charged as the thief.

- In France, the Saint becomes friends with Texan adventurer Rod Huston, the famous mathematician ,Henri Flambeau, and his daughter, Janine. They're all amazed at the luck which seems to follow Boris, the ex-king of Slavonia. Templar and Rod join up to find out if he's cheating and more importantly: why.
- At Brands Hatch motor racing circuit, the Saint meets Cynthia Quillen and Teresa Montesino, 2 racing drivers who are deadly rivals. Whilst Simon's testing Cynthia's car, he discovers it's been sabotaged. He also intercepts an assassin out to murder Cynthia with a high-powered rifle, but the killer's murdered before he can tell Templar who wants Cynthia dead.
- The Saint is asked to act as a bodyguard to the best-selling adventure author Amos Klein and, to his surprise, discovers that Amos is a young woman who uses a male pen-name. They are both captured by a man called Warlock, who has a moll called Galaxy Rose - both names of characters in Klein's books - but they too expect Amos Klein to be a man and are easily fooled when the Saint tells them that he is Amos and the young lady is his secretary. Warlock wants 'Amos' to use 'his' novelist's imagination to break in to Hermetico, a former mine that has been converted into a stronghold for gold and other valuable materials. The Saint plays along but makes a break for it with the authoress. However, despite escaping from the grounds of their prison they are recaptured and told they will be killed unless they cooperate in the break-in.
- Having been re-captured by Warlock and his gang, the Saint, still posing as 'Amos Klein', accompanies Warlock to Hermetico, the underground building Warlock wants to rob, posing as prospective clients, and making a note of the lay-out. The Saint devises a plan to breach its security and begins to train Warlock's men to raid the stronghold. However disaster strikes when one of the gang recognizes the Saint and his cover is blown. The real Amos is taken hostage on pain of death if the Saint does not carry out the robbery as planned.
- Simon's assigned to protect Russian colonel Smolenko following the deaths of several Soviet agents.
- The Gadic collection is the priceless centrepiece of an art exhibition at the Museum in Turkey, and several groups of people want it. Most notably, the wealthy art collector, Turin, who's certain the Saint's taken the collection. In an effort to obtain it for himself and discover its whereabouts, he imprisons Templar.

- Alan Williams is found dead having rung the Saint for his assistance. Pop singer Diane Huntley, a friend of Alan's, takes the Saint to meet a guru who runs meditation sessions at a hefty price, and the Saint is convinced the guru is behind the murder. Diane tells the Saint that Alan had a younger sister Brenda, who also saw the guru and who committed suicide.The Saint gets on the case to avenge his friend.
- Simon is framed for the murder of a young sculptor named Loudon.
- The Saint moves into regal circles. He comes to the aid of Queen Adana, whose husband is the deposed ruler of a Middle Eastern country.
- The Saint's in San Pablo, where a young woman tries to shoot the principal advisor to the President. Templar whisks her away from the police, and she tells him that he's a fraud, using an assumed name. He stole money from her father's business, and her father was charged, and now is dying in prison. Templar goes to the president and confronts him with the man's real identity and the fact he's an opportunist with no political loyalties. But now, he not certain who's trekking the truth.
- Whilst on holiday in Switzerland, the Saint's approached by a young woman, who says she'd been raised in Sweden by her mother, at the behest of her father, a Russian professor. He's just arrived in Geneva, to attend a conference, and is anxious to defect. The professor's being held prisoner in a chateau by security, and Irma begs Simon to free him. A plot's hatched, but inevitably, not all is what it seems to be.
- Five members of the board of a company called have all been murdered.
- Whilst in the company of his journalist friend, Temolar receives several death threats. The most recent; a wreath which says he'll be killed within two days.

The Saint goes to the family vault to find out what happened to the real Allessandro, but he is captured by the Mafia gang and taken to see Don Pasquali and his replacement. He has to think very fast to sow the seeds of discord into the minds of those present and bring the vendetta to an end.
