- The Count of Champignac is on a treasure hunt in Australia. One night he sleeps near a cave, where Aborigines live, and two criminals have a mind to steal a diamond-studded skull. One of the diamonds falls in the shoe of the Count. Spirou and Fantasio join the Count in Australia. When they arrive in Australia, they meet Jessica, who sniffs out a chance for a good story. In the meantime, the Count is caught by two criminals. They don't know anything about the diamond in his shoe, but they think that he has found a treasure from the Aborigines. Kalulong, one of the oldest Aborigines, sees with his spiritual powers that the holy stone is back in the cave. The Aborigines go there, where the Count is held by the criminals. Spirou and Spip are on the way there as well to save the Count.
- It stopped raining in Australia. Norbert de Guiville, a criminal art collector, stole the statue of opossum from the Aborigines and brought it to Europe. The opossum is crying - and it doesn't stop raining in the northern hemisphere. There are flooding everywhere. Kaloo-Log, an Australian medicine man, contacts Spirou and Fantasio and the Count of Champignac explains the relationship. The trio are able to take the statue back and an Australian ethnologist brings it back to the Aborigines. As a result the sun is shining in Europe and it is raining in Australia.
- Vito became the head of security and police of Mandarin. He arrests all his enemies and now he also tries to get rid of Spirou and Fantasio. The President of the country is very sorrowful. The young Princess is stubborn and it is difficult to find the right husband. Vito has a plan. He gets Spirou and Fantasio anonymously to Mandarin. When they arrive they are checked by security and get arrested because they have illegal weapons with them. Vito mousetrapped them and is now able to blackmail Spirou and Fantasio. It is their choice: either Fantasio plays a Prince and pays attention to the Princess or they have to go to jail. Fantasio tries to do his best, but the Princess is unruly. They even recognize that she collaborates with rebels and they join the battle. Together they can prove that Vito's only goal was to steal the crown jewels.
- Takalook, a shaman in the Arctic, and his daughter Katingrink are worried about their tribe. A mysterious blue bird seems to announce the fall of the tribe. Katingrink calls the Count of Champignac and his friends Spirou and Fantasio for help. Of course there is no blue bird. It is just a trick from their old hustler de Koch.
- When Spirou and Fantasio want to visit their friend the Count of Champignac, they see that he is on a trip away. Spip sees an open atlas and this is how they know where the Count is. They find out that the Count searches for the legendary isle of immortality and they land on the isle as well. They see the Count's yacht but there is no sign of him. When Spirou, Fantasio and Spip search for him, they get caught by pirates and are dragged to a cave. The Count is also caught there. He informs the others about the isle: the isle has mushrooms which make you immortal when you eat them. The mushrooms are the staple diet of the pirates, but they don't know that they are already there for several centuries.
- Spirou and Fantasio are going skiing in their car. Because of the bad weather the trip is horrible and they decide to make a stop at a lonely, scary train station for the night. In a storeroom Fantasio finds a young lady who is shackled: Marylin who is happy to see her saviors. When they remove the shackles the friends experience that Marylin is able to make crazy things with all the electronic devices in the house. Then she jumps out the window and is gone in the night. Suddenly a man appears: Oscar. He declares that Marylin is a robot he built, which is out of control. Together they try to stop her.
