They do not know why he is a person of interest. They are also unaware that a young woman named Eva, who is court mandated doing community service at the church, could play an importation part of what happens in this file. Without her knowledge of the reason, Wolfgang gets Kelly to help him in this matter, she who is desperate for any research that she could add to her list of publications, which have been few and far between of late. In their discussion, Al doesn't divulge some information to Wolfgang, who Al's superiors are concerned about being too uncontrolled and unsupervised in his work. One of Wolfgang's local Romeos, Rufus, is struggling under the strain of the work. His mark, Dee, is falling in love with him and is thinking about leaving her husband Vince, who is the reason Rufus started seeing her. Wolfgang asks Rufus to see the current issue through, namely to go along in name only with a request by Dee in response to a request Vince makes to Rufus. Through all these problems, Wolfgang meets a new associate at the university, Lily Song, who may take his mind off of his covert work.

But there may be some other unforeseen issues. Rufus also asks Wolfgang for advice on how he and Vince should deal with the increasingly problematic issue of Dee. Rufus has to be careful for his own safety if the plan does does come off accordingly with Wolfgang unable to help him if the law comes into play. And General Wu makes a surprise decision which doesn't sit well with Wing Lei.

To prove her mettle, Valentine joins forces with the three able sons of the elder Musketeers who rode with her father. No sooner does Valentine let her hair down than the new Musketeers are handpicked for a special task. Bandits have commandeered a coach and kidnapped the bride-to-be of King Louis XIV. The Musketeers soon discover that there is more at stake than the safety of a princess.

- After testing the efficacy of the date rape drug on himself, Norman believes he has all the pieces in place to kill Michael Gary, he telling Wolfgang that he wanting to be the one to pull the figurative trigger, if only to be the legacy known only to him and Wolfgang. As Gary himself seems to be getting close to the top of the chain of power, Wolfgang decides to meet with Gary to hear him out, even knowing that Gary's main motivation in doing so is only to get Wolfgang to cease his investigation into the attempted stadium bombing. Knowing that he can get into a position of confidence, Wolfgang may change his plan of attack with Gary to a long game, which if he does may not sit well with Norman. Meanwhile, Rufus' operation hits a snag. All the pieces are falling into place into taking over Andre's organization with Cosmo. The snag is on the movie set, with the problem being Jimmy Wah, who Tony wants Rufus to handle. Jimmy has been wielding his power effectively to shut down the movie production, which he will continue to do unless Mei Mei cooperates, her contract which Jimmy has repurchased from Wing Lei. Learning Jimmy's situation from Tony may give Rufus some leverage in how best to deal with the current impasse.
