- This film documents the introduction of the artist, activist, and World War II political caricaturist Arthur Szyk (1894-1951) to a group of students and teachers at Mercer Island High School in Seattle, Washington. Irvin Ungar, curator of The Arthur Szyk Society, encourages the students to share their reaction to work that is as vivid, profound, and worthy of discussion today as it was when it was created.
- This documentary traces the steps of the Shaw family, from brothers Tom and Buckley, who still live off the land scraping by as best they can to Little Buck, Buckley's five year old son, who rides with them when they do thier herding. There's Linda Shaw, Tom's wife, who also works to help support the family. And Charles, the twenty-year-old son of Tom and Linda, who knows only too well the problems he will be faced with, if he chooses to remain in the family business of ranching and farming.

- Sisters Jessica and Rebecca use fantasy as an escape from the hard abusive reality they know. In the story they tell each other, they paint themselves as powerful gun slinging cowgirls, but when a real life of torment becomes too much, fantasy and reality begin to intermingle.
