- When a runaway orphan ends up at the house of a cruel millionaire, she decides to alter his perception of the world.
- Julie is an Anglo-Indian girl with a loving, but alcoholic father and a domineering mother, a younger brother and sister. She falls in love with her best friend's brother Shashi Bhattacharya, a Hindu boy, and she has a passionate encounter with him, which leaves her pregnant. He goes away to college, not knowing about her condition. Her mother is distraught when Julie tells her about the pregnancy. They don't tell the rest of the family. Her mother thinks about getting Julie an abortion, but a devout Christian talks her out of it. Julie is sent away to have her baby in secret. The rest of the family is told that Julie got a job. When she comes back home, she runs into her Hindu boyfriend and tells him everything. He agrees to marry her, but his mother objects to the mixed marriage, not knowing about the baby born in secret. Julie's mother doesn't want the marriage either, as she and the rest of the family want to go to England.

- Ajay alias Munna Babu is a semi-senile, gentle but naive young man who has a wealthy family estate. His employees and alleged well-wishers (Arjun Singh, Jatha Shankar, Munishi Gurbachan, Bhairav) conspire against him and introduce him to his long-estranged mother, Shakuntala, and brother, Vijay. Munna is overjoyed, not knowing that they are devious impersonators. This joy is quite short-lived, as they soon show their true colors, and Munna gets killed. His restless spirit seeks out his real brother and appeals to him to avenge his death. Vijay, at first, thinks he is hallucinating, but when his mother confirms that he indeed had a twin brother, he agrees to accompany Munna's spirit back to where he was killed, and thus assist him complete his vengeance. Things do not go as planned, and Vijay himself becomes their victim, and may face the very same fate as Munna.
- Widowed and ailing Savitri Choudhury lives a wealthy lifestyle along with her son, Anil, in a palatial mansion in India. She knows that Anil is only waiting for her to die so that he can inherit the wealth and refuses to give him any money. The Diwan convinces Anil to mend his ways, get married, and patch-up with his mom. Shortly thereafter Anil does appear to have mended his ways, gets involved in charity, and even introduces a young woman named Deepali to his mom. Deepali moves in the mansion, looks after Savitri so much so that Savitri decides to make her the sole beneficiary of her estate. What Savitri does not know is that Anil has hired Deepali to act as his fiancée, and that Deepali herself is not who she claims to be, and is actually in love with a local horse-riding peasant, Ajit, whose father was convicted of killing Savitri's husband, and soon Ajit himself will be arrested by the Police for having an affair and then killing a woman named Sita.

On top of all this, Diwakar's obsession with Mohini shows no sign of abating, forcing Jamuna to leave their home.

A baffled and heartbroken Geeta must now find out why her dad, first approved Raja, and then rejected him. What Geeta does not know is that Raja does not love her - he is only out to avenge the death of his real mother, who was run over by Rattan's car years ago. Geeta also does not know that Rattan is not her biological father, but a brutal killer, who had knowingly killed her very own father, Madan. Watch as events unfold and the impact these have on Geeta, Rattan, and Raja.
- Madhukar and Jaggu are Hitler-like tyrants who rule over a small community with an iron hand. They prefer to keep the inhabitants illiterate, so that they can continue to oppress and abuse them over time. But one young lad, Ramu, educates himself secretly with the help of the local school-master, Srikanth. Years later, Ramu has grown up and is now a formidable force to reckon with. Madhukar and Jaggu see him as a threat and soon spin a web of lies and deceit around him, leaving him with no alternative except to retreat, leaving the poor villagers once again at their mercy of their oppressors.

During a quiet break they talk about life at home, and Ajay's forthcoming marriage. Then Sunil is wounded, and brought in the barracks. Ajay goes through his belongings, and gets a shock when he sees Sheetal's photograph in Sunil's wallet.
- Anwar lives with his brother, Nawab, the Nawab's wife, and their child, in a wealthy upper class neighborhood. Anwar is in love with Shahida, and would like to marry her. The Nawab has a mistress named Benazir, who he goes to see on a regular basis. Shauket, a friend of the family, tells Nawab that Anwar is also seeing Benazir whenever the Nawab is not around. Nawab is shocked at this, but he witnesses Benazir herself in Anwar's arms, and is enraged. The question remains, if Anwar is in love with Shahida, why he is having an affair with his brother's mistress?
- When the D.C.P. is told that a vacationing college student has disappeared in Ramgarh Picnic Cottage, he deputes Inspector Vijay to investigate and report back to him in 30 days. Upon arrival in Ramgarh, Vijay is confronted with Police Inspector Mukesh Dubey, who refuses to undertake any investigation into this disappearance as he believes that the death was caused by the vengeful spirit of a girl named Shalu. Police Constables would rather be suspended and lose their jobs, rather than take the risk of getting involved with Shalu's spirit. To make matters worse, more disappearances occur, with the mysterious appearance of an investigator of the occult, Robert. As his tenure of 30 days comes to a close, Inspector Vijay will find that he is nowhere near solving this case - and may well end up as a casualty himself.
- Loosely based on the 1957 classic "Dekh Kabira Roya", this is a story of three male friends, Deepak, Vinod and Sanjay. While Sanjay runs a business; Vinod is an ardent cricket fan and player; and Deepak a singer. The three pals meet three young ladies named Neela, Shree, and Sherry, who would like to marry a businessman, a cricketer, and a singer. The dreams of these ladies do come true, and they wind up on a marriage pandal with the love of their lives. But wait, Neela who wanted to marry a cricket player is about to tie the knot with businessman Sanjay; Shree wanted to marry a businessman but ends up with Deepak the singer; and Sherry who wanted to marry a singer ends up with cricketer Vinod. To add to the confusion are gangster Tundabhai, and a Pakistan-based terrorist, Chaman Chindi, who are out to kill Sanjay, Deepak and Vinod, so that Tundabhai can add Neela, Shree and Sherry to his harem - & the result is utter and hilarious chaos.
- Kali is an uppercaste but naive and dim-witted Brahman and lives with his stepmother and her son. He has fallen in love with Pushpavali who is of a low caste. Kali's mother frowns on this and on the next small pretext throws him out of the house. The villagers do not show any sympathy for Kali. Kali and Pushpavali decide to leave the village. Princess Vidyotma hears Pushpavali singing and invites her to the palace to be her maid. Vidyotma is not married and will only marry a man more intelligent than her. She has humiliated and defeated many men, and no man seems to even match wits with her. A sage decides to bring her arrogance to an end, and he asks the naive Kali to accompany him to see the Princess, Kali does so, and through the Sage's help defeats the Princess. The Princess marries Kali and is aghast to find that he is illiterate, and dim-witted. Kali gets humiliated by the princess, and he decides to educate himself. His true love is still Pushpavali. But he is now married, and the princess will definitely not let him leave for a low-caste woman.
