- Inspired by the big prime time soap operas of the 80´s "Rich and Scary" follows the path of german mogul Michaela von Baer (Clarissa Oktavia) who has to fight various illustrous enemies in keeping her empire-like company "Von Baer Enterprises" . Von Baer is the cousin of russian starlet Clarissa Oktavia (Clarissa Oktavia!) who seems to be killed at the beginning of the series by her insane psychiatrist Dr. Ingolf Robert (Robert Zandstra). It turns out later that Dr. Robert didn´t kill her at all as Clarissa is alive and well , returning "from the dead" to take part in the ongoing struggles surrounding her cousins company. One of von Baer´s archenemys is policewoman Penelope Stöcker (Sinta Tamsjadi), whose father was driven to suicide by von Baer herself and Stöcker makes von Baer´s life living hell. Having lost everything in the end von Baer is forced to leave Germany and return to Monaco(!) where she came from in the first place. Another story-arc involves the unique Police Inspector Brigitte Hasentritt (Kristina Bischoff), who was trying to solve the murder of Clarissa Oktavia, but became one of the central characters later in the series when she married one of von Baer´s ex-husbands , holds the majority of "Von Baer Enterprises" , was bitten by vampires and has to fight speaking attack dogs. By the end of "Rich and Scary" all characters are vampires, crossdressers or just totally insane. The last frames show resurrected russian starlet Clarissa Oktavia being eaten alive by her enemies Penelope Stöcker and Brigitte Hasentritt, Dr. Robert on the loose pretending to be the "real Clarissa Oktavia" and Michaela von Baer finally dying while choking on a cheeseburger...
