- The player is the Stranger, an unknown person mysteriously transported to the island of Myst. Alone and without clues, the Stranger must solve the mysteries and discover the secrets of this strange place.
- Juri secretly admires Kanako, who is popular in their class. Juri is like this even at home, where she acts the part of an ideal daughter for her parents because she wants them to stop fighting every day and be loving to each other again. Meanwhile, for no apparent reason, Kanako finds her position in class suddenly plummeting from that of the popular girl to that of the one everybody ignores.
- Fifth installment in the "Street Fighter II" sub-series that introduces several new gameplay mechanics, including the addition of combination moves called super combos and air combos. It also introduces the secret character Akuma.
- Late at night in the mid of July, a jogging man was found dead with a crossbow bolt piercing his heart and a couple of photos of a swimsuit model in his death grip. You play a chief inspector Totsukawa, a fictional detective created by Kyoutarou Nishimura, a Japanese writer of mystery novels. The victim appears to be living in a nearby apartment, and after checking the crime scenes and gathering clues, talking to witnesses and the person who found the body would be the next logical step. Unlike the PSP version released 15 years later, this game uses live-action during both cut-scenes and in-game investigation while gameplay relies upon icons that let you listen to what others have to say, talk to witnesses and suspects, and investigate the crime scenes. At the beginning of each day, you start with a meeting to discuss what you've uncovered thus far with your subordinates and decide what to do and where to go next. Each day progresses as you move from location to location, leaving you with a limited number of locations you can visit before the day ends, so following clues and figuring out where is the best thing to go next is of utmost importance in order to solve the crime.
- Team Starblade is thrust to stop the enemy invasion, led by Mechanized Planet Red-Eye, from destroying the Mother Planet.
- A first-person space shooter, similar to Shockwave (1994) and Total Eclipse (1994), that has the player take control of a state-of-the-art strike fighter in missions ranging from the asteroid belt to the final fight on the Earth's surface. This is all done in an attempt to stop the Kaisertian (which resemble the Aliens from the Alien movies) race from destroying mankind. The gameplay is very simplistic. The player uses the D-pad to move around a cursor on the screen, to aim wherever the player wants the weapons to fire, and the main buttons to fire the two main weapons of choice, a Laser Vulcan Cannon and a Blast Smash that is guided automatically at incoming enemies. However, unlike other first-person space shooters for the 3DO, there is no way of controlling the actual ship as its' movement is on a predetermined course and can't be manually deviated. The story is told through CGI cinemas.
- Grab your clubs and head for the first tee. This golf sim recreates the world-famous Hawaiian Waialae Golf Course, noted for lots of bunkers and very fast greens. You can choose your golfer, assign him a caddy, pick your set of clubs and adjust the power, putting, technical, recovery, and wind game stats to suit your personal preference. The game offers a practice training mode, a tournament mode, and the ability to challenge your friends in a stroke match. Oddly, this game was not sanctioned by the PGA and assumes that the golfer is always male.
- The year is 1945. Jerry Randolph, a female reporter working for the Chicago newspaper "Daily Casablanca", finds a diary belonging to her high school friend May Elgar, who has disappeared several years ago under mysterious circumstances. Jerry discovers that May's father was working on a groundbreaking scientific project. Too late to save Dr. Elgar from untimely death, Jerry uses a time machine constructed by him to travel to 1916, following the traces left by the criminals.
- Blue Forest Story is set in a medieval fantasy land, controlled by the powerful Empire. There are in fact two stories in the game, featuring two different characters, who live in different provinces of the Empire. The boy Wallace enjoys a peaceful life with his family in a quiet village; the girl Rakjit witnesses persecution and death of her mother, and joins a resistance movement that specializes in magics. The paths of the two young people will eventually lead to the same goal - the liberation of the world; but when and how it will be achieved, remains unclear... The game plays for the most part like a traditional Japanese-style top-down RPG. Both Wallace and Rakjit eventually gather a party, which roams the world, visiting various locations and advancing the story in a predominantly linear fashion. The appearance of random enemies triggers a battle screen, which is viewed from an isometric perspective. The battle system is rather old-fashioned, with physical and magical attacks; level progression is automatic, as in most games of the genre. Sometimes the game prompts the player to choose an action or a response; while the flow of the story is rarely influenced by the player's decision, the game keeps track of these decisions, evaluating the player's attitude between chapters.
- The home version of Puzzle Bobble (1994) is not a straight adaptation of the arcade game. It greatly increases the number of levels, has new gameplay features, and introduces new modes. The general concept remains the same: the player controls a catapult at the bottom of the screen that shoots bubbles of random colors. When three or more bubbles of the same color touch on the playfield, they are removed, with any bubbles falling away that are not attached to the ceiling, sidewall, or another bubble. The ceiling periodically descends, pushing the bubbles downward. The game is lost if any bubbles touch the bottom. In single-player mode, the goal is to clear pre-set bubble patterns. The game consists of 100 levels, more than tripling the number from the arcade game. Some arcade levels are reused, but most are entirely new. Also new are gameplay elements in the form of special bubbles: explosive bubbles destroy bubbles in a small radius around them if hit. Lightning bubbles move sideways if hit, clearing a horizontal line. Water bubbles burst, with the downward stream recoloring all bubbles it touches. Another new element is a boss fight in the final level. The two-player mode from the arcade version also reappears, but optionally adds a series of ten computer opponents with different playing strategies. In two-player mode, the goal is to make the other player fail. Instead of the ceiling descending, new bubbles are added from the top. Removing more than the required three bubbles at a time sends bubbles to the opponent's field. The final mode is Challenge mode: it is an endless unwinnable mode where new bubbles are continuously added from the top. It is played for the high score: both the score and the number of bubbles popped are counted.
- Scramble Cobra is a 3-D helicopter action game, where the player takes command of a Cobra helicopter gunship, flying through various battlefields, using their Vulcan machine guns and hydra rockets to destroy enemy tanks, helicopters, and other assorted units. There are ten missions in all to play through. The player has to complete each mission in an allotted amount of time. The missions mainly consist of search and destroy objectives. It also has live-action videos to tell the story and is played from the view of the helicopter's cockpit.
- In a classic Japanese RPG style, Guardian War pits you as guardian golem against the dark forces of Azrael, the Evil Lord. Your world is infested with monsters and your job is to destroy them. Along the way you meet other golems that you need to revive so that they can join your quest. Your ultimate goal is to defeat Azrael.
- Battle Pinball is a Japanese-only release where players play competitive pinball against the computer or another player. Players pick between one of four characters, each with their own dedicated pinball table. The game then moves to a split-screen view, where both players play their respective table and try to get a higher score than their opponent. Other options include a 1-player "story" mode where the player selects a character and battles the other three. Winning here gives a character-specific CG victory movie. Players can also play against multiple opponents in a tournament mode (complete with brackets), though a maximum of two players will be playing at once. As with Fire Ball!! (1994), the view angle is fixed and cannot be changed.
- Real Pinball is the standard video game conversion of the actual machines with five different tables to choose from with the main goal being to gain as many points as possible by using the game controller to control the flippers of the machine. The game features realistic graphics made to resemble an actual machine.
- The Life Stage is a house-building program allowing players to construct fantasy houses from a simplified modeling interface. Players build the basic structure of connected rooms and placement of doors, then drop in decorations and select textures for floors and wallpapers. Players can then roam around their virtual homes and interact with some of the objects within. The game comes preset with some demo floor plans, ranging from a house in the snowy mountains to an office building downtown. Only one room is held in the system's limited memory at a time, so players must "use" doors to move to a new room. After a lengthy load time, the player will be standing in the new room. There are limits on the size and complexity of individual rooms as well.
- Insecter War presents a psychedelic, sci-fi take on the Faceball 2000 (1992) style of first-person shooter. Matches are fast-paced, with a simple and direct form of combat: shoot or be shot, using simple and straightforward weapons. Stages are also filled with a variety of obstacles and traps, giving places for players and enemies alike to strafe through and hide from each other in. In the multiplayer battle mode, Insecter War can be played with up to four players in split-screen; it also offers a single-player campaign mode with a simple story.
- A murder mystery adventure game based on writings of Misa Yamamura, a Japanese writer of murder mystery novels. The protagonist of the story is Akiko Sonoyama, a freelancer who finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery after the son of the host dies during the dinner right after drinking the wine. The game uses live-action videos and actors and shows the player protagonist in 3rd-person during an investigation, similar to other games of such era, such as The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery (1995) or Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh (1996). During gameplay, the full-screen videos appear in the center of the screen with the border around the window showing various action icons and game progress. While the player character appears during cut-scenes and dialogues, navigating the environment is done in the first-person perspective. During dialogues, the player has a list of questions one can ask with replies being a set of live-action videos of certain characters addressing the player.
- This is an early 3D survival horror game that involves surviving traps in a sentient house and solving puzzles rather than fighting enemies. Like the best horror movies, it uses sound effects such as echoing footsteps and creepy changing music to increase the scary atmosphere. It takes place in 1952, where you play as an investigator searching for the archaeologist Dr. Hauzer who has disappeared. He built his house over an archaeologist site and became obsessed with the deity Kellbim to whom he sacrifices his interns. You will die numerous times in the house's deadly traps but having unlimited save games makes viewing the death animations part of the fun. You can switch the view between first-person, third-person, or overhead. Choosing a different view will help you overcome some traps.
- Autobahn Tokio is a racing game released only in Japan for the 3DO. Players can select from four unnamed cars with different characteristics, loosely based on real car models. Three tracks are available - a city at night, a coastal highway, and a forest track. Players race against one CPU opponent, while trying to hit checkpoints in the quickest time possible. Both automatic and manual transmissions are available for each car. Cars cannot be tuned, and there is no two-player option. Despite being released only in Japan, all menus and game text is in English.
- Created by artist Buichi Terasawa, Takeru is a full-color computerized interactive manga. Follow the hero Takeru Ichimonji in his battle against an evil sorceress in the land of Yamato, sort of an amalgam of feudal and futuristic Japan.
