IWW is a national sports entertainment territory in Ireland & the UK. The promotion has operated for two decades. 'IWW WhiplashTV' was a television show that aired for two series in 2005-2006. On top of that, IWW produced over a dozen DVDs which home grown & international talent. Many of which went onto careers in the WWE, AEW, TNA etc. Live events ran in every Province and county in Ireland & Northern Ireland. Other countries where Irish Whip operated where Wales, Scotland & England. The primary focus of 'Chronicles' is to educate about the rich background of the promotion & also the Wrestling Scene prior to and including IWW. Each episode will be a unique guest that is or was associated with the business over a twenty year period. Hear tales of home grown talents like Sheamus & Drew McIntryre in their early days. Stories about touring wrestlers from North America, Japan & Europe. Talent from promotions like WWE, TNA, ROH, Noah, Dragon Gate & ECW all passed through IWW. Industry names like Ric Flair, Vince McMahon, Balls Mahoney, Big Vito, Matt Striker, Vampiro, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, Fit Finaly, Robbie Brookside, Tatanka, Mike Modest, Chris Daniels, Doug Williams, Nick Aldis, Wade Barrett, PAC, Tyson Kidd, Vince Russo, Sunny, Bruce Prichard, Bushwhacker Luke & many more will be discussed. See IWW International Heavyweight Champion Sheamus, as he defends the title against a slew of challengers. Drew Galloway and his Foreign Legion try each week to capture the coveted championship. War rages on throughout season two as these factions fight for control of the IWW international heavyweight championship. The Zero Gravity division is the best in Europe. A number of high flying competitors fight it out each week to get to the top of the ZG pinnacle. Different matches to those of the heavyweight and title division. Very exciting matches. A number of female wrestlers grapple one another in singles and tag battles to prove their worth to a multitude of opponents. The inter-gender matches are historic. Both series feature females matches. WhiplashTV is the flagship of Irish Whip Wrestling. It runs for two series with many of the same Irish characters. Tapings are from all across Ireland. Dublin, Cork, Waterford predominantly. Competitors from several continents come to the television series.
