Zwei Leichen werden dem Bestattungsunternehmen Taubenbaum diesmal anvertraut, bei deren Tod Lisa Widersprüche feststellt. Das Drehbuch zu "Die Bestatterin - Zweieinhalb Tote" schrieben Matthias Kiefersauer und Alexander Liegl. In der Regie von Fabian Möhrke sind an der Seite von Anna Fischer wieder Artus Maria Matthiesen und Frederik Bott als Vater und Sohn Taubenbaum zu sehen und Christoph Letkowski als Kriminalkommissar und On-off-Beziehung Thomas Zellinger. Auf der Fahrt zu einem Junggesellenabschied verunglücken zwei junge Männer aus Hepperlingen in ihrem Auto tödlich und stürzen in einen Fluss. Ihre Leichen werden geborgen und Bestatterin Lisa Taubenbaum anvertraut. Die beiden hatten gemeinsam mit Mario, dem Eigentümer des Wagens, Junggesellenabschied gefeiert. Aber wo ist Mario? Von ihm fehlt jede Spur. Marios Ehefrau weiß nicht, ob sie hoffen oder bangen soll. Lisa, die in der Schulzeit mit Mario liiert war, ist überzeugt, dass er noch lebt. Sie gerät in Clinch mit dem ermittelnden Kommissar Thomas Zellinger, den sie hartnäckig auf Ungereimtheiten aufmerksam macht. Als Mario nach einigen Tagen quicklebendig in Hepperlingen auftaucht, vermutet Zellinger, dass er den Tod seiner beiden Freunde vorsätzlich verursacht hat, und präsentiert ein Motiv, von dem Lisa nicht überzeugt ist. Sie nimmt ihre alte Liebe bei sich auf und erregt damit den Unmut von Zellinger. Mario schweigt beharrlich. Obwohl er alle außer Lisa gegen sich hat, möchte er keinesfalls preisgeben, was in der Nacht des Unfalls wirklich geschehen ist.

He is supported by Rudi Birkenberger, now a department-store detective but previously with Franz in the Munich detective squad until both were suspended. The Höpfl case gets even more tangled when a second corpse is found, that of a drug-addict hustler with whom Höpfl had been in contact. Franz must also cope with the fact that his Susi is having an affair and he thinks the lover is the Thai offspring of his estranged brother, who is supposed to be their babysitter.

Here, Martin tries to get the traumatized girl to talk to him. But even deeper in the dark underbelly of the ship there is something lurking. And all signs point to a serial killer, just waiting to strike again.

- The local outdoor swimming pool in Grubberg is a thorn in the side of the mayor (Gisela Schneeberger). It is at best, is way overpriced and therefore should be closed. The builder Albert Dengler (Sebastian Bezzel) then only sees dollar signs, because the large surface area offers space for many apartments. But lifeguard Karl (Milan Peschel) cannot and will not accept that his job, where he has been responsible for public order for 30 years, is about to be changed. Der Galerist Rafael möchte helfen, dass sie den Botticelli findet. Dieses Gemälde scheint die Polizei mehr zu interessieren als die Wahrheit über Lukas' Tod.

As they discover links to more citizens, arson and a hanging occur, but a cop's own dark secret also ties in.

- Actually, the die-hard workaholics Claire, Bernhard and daughter Sophie want to cut corners in their new house. In fact, at first only odd types and aging couch potatoes seem to seek contact - and even their interest dwindles as soon as they find out about Elli's job. Raymond, from Zimbabwe alone, is undeterred by the prospect of living on a farm. When they first meet, the two immediately like each other, with his down-to-earth, reserved nature, the African can immediately win Elli over. Without further ado, she offers him to move in with her on a trial basis. However, the mismatched couple causes irritation in the village. The men in particular view the dark-skinned Africans with suspicion and prejudice. Even Ellis' own son, although married to a foreigner himself, is skeptical about the new man at his mother's side. But Elli doesn't want to let her new happiness be destroyed that easily. She defends Raymond against all hostilities. However, when he is denounced by a villager at the immigration office, Elli dares a courageous step to save Raymond from safe deportation.

Tanja Wilken hält alles für möglich, lässt aber trotz Dennis' Unschuldsbeteuerungen nicht von dessen Onkel Daniel ab. Kollege Heinz Löwe befeuert ihre Skepsis. Parallel zu den Ermittlungen im Fall Klettner haben Revierleiterin Dorothea Danzeisen und ihr Team einen berüchtigten Kunstdieb im Auge, den Doreen Danzeisen in der Stadt entdeckt hat. David Danzeisen und Diana Gruber heften sich sogleich an die Fersen von Johann Kronstein, um herauszufinden, ob er womöglich seinen nächsten Raub plant.

- After receiving a dubious Phone call at work, Eva Konalsky, a typist working at a Steel Factory disappears without a trace. The Saarbrücken Police sends the two cops Liersdahl and Schäfermann to investigate. Both of them have a very different view of how police work should be done and they are not very fond of each other at first. When another person of the Steel Factory's personnel is murdered they both have to do their best to solve the case.
- The East German authorities are calling the West German Police for assistance on a case. The body of a boy was found at a Truck Stop near Leipzig. The boy wears shoes made in West Germany. Some time later the assistance call is withdrawn. Phoning his colleague in East Berlin, a man he worked together with in the past, investigator Paul Trimmel in Hamburg is told: "There is no work for you here." But Trimmel investigates on his own. He finds out that the wealthy Erich Landsberger is the illegitimate father of the dead kid. Landsberger and his other son have moved to Frankfurt. Trimmel pays him a visit there. The man is of no great help for him, but Trimmel gets an unexpected clue from Landsberger's little son. He has to go to Leipzig himself to find out more. So he leaves the Transit Route near the city, pretending his car broke down, takes a Taxi and goes looking for Eva Billsing, the dead boy's mother. She is not home when Trimmel arrives. The next day Trimmel encounters Eva's boyfriend Peter Klaus, who works for the East German Police, and talks him into letting him have a word with Eva. At least Klaus gives in to Trimmel and the things Eva tells him help solve the case.
