- Nothing is as fascinating as the future. This is not only because today is the yesterday of tomorrow, but also in the nature of man. After all, we want to know what is in store for us, what we can look forward to, what we have to fear and what we can do today to ensure that we can experience the future at all. Hanno Settele goes in style in a DeLorean in search of clues. On his journey he meets people who still have the future in front of them, interviews clergymen and scientists, flies into space and lies in the coffin to test it. Will he find what he is looking for? The future will show it. For 90 minutes Hanno Settele searches for the future. And in 90 minutes a lot can happen. There will be five earthquakes in this time span - and a forest area the size of 200 football fields will be destroyed. 14 million people will have sex, 23,782 people will be born and 9,724 people will die. In the next hour and a half, the toilet will be flushed 1.4 billion times worldwide. And in Austria 20 mobile phones will fall into the toilet. At least that's what the statistics say. The statistics also say that Hanno Settele has about 30 years to live. What will he experience until then? "Will I still be able to see the landing on Mars? Will anyone still be interested in ten years from now whether I'll be in television? Will I go bald? Will Europe become a 'fortress'? Is the self-propelled car finally coming? Will I still see Rapid become the champion?
- Since 1987, the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) under its leader Joseph Kony has been fighting in the border area between Uganda and Southern Sudan, the Central American Republic and the Congo with the alleged aim of establishing a theocracy. Terrorizing the civilian population is a significant tactic. Attacks and looting of villages, murders and the cruelest mutilations among villagers are intended to spread fear and terror. Children are systematically abducted, brainwashed and brought to the reign of terror as child soldiers and sex slaves. Peter Kullmann has gained the trust of some, sometimes highly traumatized, mentally and physically wounded young people who have been able to escape the terror regime. One former sex slave tells about her cruel odyssey and the agony of losing her best friend, another about her inner conflicts after giving birth to a son to the leader, Joseph Kony himself. A former child soldier explains the terror system, according to which children are forced to kill their own parents in order to become unscrupulous killers from now on as orphans tormented by inner guilt.
