It follows linebacker Jarrett Grace who is attempting a comeback after suffering a season ending broken leg in 2013. It also looks at the influence of the late Father Ted Hesburgh on the team.

- Onward Notre Dame looks at the history of Notre Dame's rivalry with Navy. The Naval Academy helped keep the University of Notre Dame afloat during WII by using it as a training center. Since then, Notre Dame and Navy have played football every season. From 1964 to 2006, Notre Dame had a 43-game winning streak which was finally broken by the Midshipmen in a triple-overtime classic in 2007.
