- The Film 'Dirty Games' is an expedition to the dirty abyss of professional sports. The award winning investigative journalist Benjamin Best (CNN Journalist of the Year 2011) takes a global look behind the scenes at the colourful world of sports and exposes the bitter taste behind the multi-billion sports business. From Europe to the USA. From South America to Asia. This film, which draws upon very personal stories by protagonists from all over the world, shows how the sport system operates, and it gives those who are protesting an opportunity to speak out against the system. In the process, it also exposes new and sinister wheeling and dealing in the world of sports.
- In May 2019 Journalist and Filmmaker Benjamin Best traveled for German TV WDR undercover to Qatar and filmed secretly massive exploitation of migrant worker from Nepal on FIFA World Cup construction sites. Because of his reporting FIFA admitted for the first time violations of worker standards on FIFA World Cup construction sites. The Nepali government granted WDR's request for official data regarding Nepali workers in Qatar, which showed that 1.426 workers had died in Qatar between 2009 and 2019. Benjamin Best filmed 125 Nepali workers that did not receive any salary for up to eight months, had their passports illegally confiscated and were only able to eat bread and drink water. Their accommodations were in a terrible state.
