- At Wally's Piggery, around 15 minutes from Canberra, Australia, sow pigs are confined to very tiny cages, unable to even make a small movement, and are repeatedly impregnated. Injuries and death are common for piglets and pigs because of restricted space, filthy conditions and abuse by workers. The facility has eight rows of tiny metal cages stretching far into distance, where hundreds of pigs are confined for up to 16 weeks at a time. As if it wasn't enough for many of the sows to have pressure sores and other injuries, multiple piglets are found in pieces, and scattered throughout the facility, probably due to a combination of cannibalism and worker mistreatment. Other dead piglets had been thrown into buckets found inside and outside the farrowing sheds.
- An undercover investigation done by Aussie Pigs took place inside Selko Piggery in Narrandero NSW, where there is "group housing" without sow stalls, since it rather comprises six sheds laid out in an east-west direction. One of the only differences from most Australian piggeries is the fact the piglets' tails are not cut of.

In addition to the confinement, deaths, injuries and mutilation without pain relief, multiple piglets appeared to suffer from a mange-like condition.
- In early 2014, Aussie Pigs went undercover inside Bungowannah Piggery, a small-medium piggery near Albury NSW that is owned by Rivalea Australia. Not only are many sows confined to farrowing crates and sow stalls, but many piglets had been killed by "overlay", which happens when a sow lies on her piglet and crushes it to death because of the confines of the farrowing crate. Many sows were found with pressure wounds and various conditions on their teats, but the teat on one of the sows had been ripped completely open. But even though Rivalea had promised to get rid of all of their sow stalls seven years prior to this investigation, it appears absolutely nothing had been done.

Activists went to module 1, where pigs were confined to tiny cages and one suffered from painful prolapse. Sick and dead piglets were found, some in buckets. Sows and piglets were subjected to cold water constantly spraying on them from a broken water pipe, while several rats were seen among the pigs.
