- In 2015, Animal Liberation groups form across Australia went to three pig slaughterhouses in Victoria, where pigs (including those from so-called "free range" farms) are put into cages that lower them down to carbon dioxide gas chambers, where they scream, trash and kick in excruciating pain as they try to escape before they finally suffocate. This is regarded as the industry's "best practices".
- 29 November 2018 was the day when Bear Witness Australia and Aussie Farms arranged an action, which involves around 70 activists from across Australia raiding the Luv-A-Duck slaughterhouse in Nhill, often called "Kill-a-Duck". This is the slaughterhouse where ducks are being slaughtered. Prior to slaughter, dozens of ducks are kept in farms, with barely any to no water, and are often subjected to filthy conditions, injuries and diseases, extreme suffering and death.

- At Wally's Piggery, around 15 minutes from Canberra, Australia, sow pigs are confined to very tiny cages, unable to even make a small movement, and are repeatedly impregnated. Injuries and death are common for piglets and pigs because of restricted space, filthy conditions and abuse by workers. The owner of the farm brutally murders helpless pigs by using a sledgehammer, while his employees watch and drink beer. - While a person who is out of their natural and normal element is often referred to as "like a duck out of water", why are around eight mil-lion ducks farmed in Australia with barely any to no water to swim, bath, or even dip their heads into. Frustration, suffering and denial of natural behavior patterns are very common in duck farms across the country.
- In 2013, after Australian Pork Limited (APL) had published a seemingly innocent promotional video of Lansdowne Piggery, Animal Liberation released a video that tells a very different story, and that story is certainly not innocent. According to the investigation held by the Animal Liberation, pigs and piglets were living in hellish conditions. Mother pigs were confined to farrowing crates, while piglets were either dying or dead, one of them having his leg trapped between the metal bars of the floor of the crate, and unable to move away from his dead brothers and sisters lying beside him.
- During Animal Liberation's investigation inside Yelmah Piggery, many mother pigs are found to be living in crates so small that they can't even stand up properly and turn around, and forced to get pregnant and give birth to piglets. But as if it wasn't enough, many piglets are subjected to hellish conditions and suffering, including fighting, cannibalism, and not at least crushing and gruesome deaths while their mothers can't do anything to help them.

- Despite the government and animal agribusinesses trying to present new rules under the guise of "biosecurity", Animal Liberation Queensland and Animal Liberation captured footage inside Signium Piggery in New South Wales, its story tells anything but nice. Even though the piggery got fined tens of thousands of dollars for environmental breaches in 2018, the farm remained open and operating. The pigs living in the farm, however, were subjected to vile, filthy conditions and sickness, as well as brutal abuse and neglect. Mother pigs were constantly confined to tiny gestation crates, only to be let out for mating purposes.
