Meg Ryan movies ranging from best to worst
Today is Meg Ryan's 54th birthday(19th of Novemeber)and to celebrate her big birthday I decided to do a list of films that I have seen her in. I didn't see all of her movies as some of them were underrated and weren't on TV. But here are the ones that I have seen her in and hey I am a fan of her's and hopefully she'll make a comeback soon.

- DirectorDon BluthGary GoldmanStarsMeg RyanJohn CusackChristopher LloydThe last surviving child of the Russian Royal Family joins two con men to reunite with her grandmother, the Dowager Empress, while the undead Rasputin seeks her death. This was the one that I really enjoyed Meg Ryan in. She was spunky, fiesty and she was very good as the voice of Anya. Too bad she didn't do her own singing work but she was fantastic in this film. And its my favourite Don Bluth movie of all time so kudos to you Meg.
- DirectorNora EphronStarsTom HanksMeg RyanGreg KinnearBook superstore magnate Joe Fox and independent book shop owner Kathleen Kelly fall in love in the anonymity of the Internet, both blissfully unaware that he's trying to put her out of business.Meg Ryan teamed up with Tom Hanks in alot of films in the past and this is one of them. She's Katherine Kelly a woman who owns a bookstore and develops feelings for a guy she met online unaware that he is Joe Fox a newly businessman who opened up his own bookstore across the road from her old bookstore. Great film.
- DirectorNora EphronStarsTom HanksMeg RyanRoss MalingerA recently widowed man's son calls a radio talk-show in an attempt to find his father a partner.Again with Tom Hanks this one is my mom's favourite film, and I love it too. Its like that flick with Cary Grant 'An Affair To Remember', where its all about faith and destiny.Meg played Annie a woman who hears a young boy on the radio wanting his single dad to find a wife as his mom passed away a good few years ago. A timeless romantic flick.
- DirectorJames MangoldStarsMeg RyanHugh JackmanLiev SchreiberAn English Duke from 1876 is inadvertently dragged to modern day New York where he falls for a plucky advertising executive.Speaking of faith and destiny,Ryan teamed up with Aussie actor Hugh Jackman in his second Hollywood romantic comedy where Ryan plays Kate McKay a cynical moody businesswoman who just broke up with her boyfriend of 4 years who happens to be a time traveller as he ends up bringing his great great grandfather(weird set up I know)to modern day New York named Leopold played by Jackman. Yes its silly, and contrived but do you know what I really loved this film. Sure Ryan was stubborn in most of the film but you later see a new side to her charcther when she falls in love with Jackman's charcther. A feel good rom com like that Amy Adams flick Enchanted.
- DirectorRob ReinerStarsBilly CrystalMeg RyanCarrie FisherHarry and Sally have known each other for years, and are very good friends, but they fear sex would ruin the friendship.Meg starred with Billy Crystal in this rom com where she did a fake orgasm on herself at the diner in one particular scene. Its a feel good rom com and I must try and track it down sometime so that I can watch it again.
- DirectorGriffin DunneStarsMeg RyanMatthew BroderickKelly PrestonMaggie's and Sam's former partners are in love; she wants revenge and he wants his lost love back, so they work together to break up the happy couple.I haven't seen this film in a long time so I haven't got a clue what it was about but I did see it.
- DirectorNorman RenéStarsMeg RyanAlec BaldwinKathy BatesA couple fall in love despite the girl's pessimistic outlook. As they struggle to come to terms with their relationship, something supernatural happens that tests it.Again I didn't see it in ages but as far as I know she plays this woman who ends up getting her persona switched by a deceased person,so she ends up having a new persona. Alec Baldwin starred with her in it.
- DirectorGeorge GalloStarsAntonio BanderasMeg RyanColin HanksHenry Durand is a young federal agent who is given a difficult assignment: spy on his mother and her boyfriend who is suspected of leading a gang of art thieves. Now this is when Ryan was bad. I mean what possessed her to change her appearance for anyway. She was perfect just as she was. Maybe she wanted to keep herself younger and keep up with the Jones but still she just sucked so bad in this film,no wonder her movie career went downhill.
- DirectorDiane EnglishStarsMeg RyanEva MendesAnnette BeningA wealthy New Yorker wrestles with the decision to leave her cheating husband, as she and her friends discover that women really can have it all.Again a terrible film avoid.
- DirectorBrad SilberlingStarsNicolas CageMeg RyanAndre BraugherAn angel on Earth, a doctor unable to believe, a patient with a secret, a love story made in Heaven.I did like her in this film but it was still a terrible lackluster film.
