Gad was born in Morocco in April 1971. His father was a mime. He was a student at Georges Bizet school and Lycée Lyautey in Casablanca but didn't like school much. In 1988, Gad left Casablanca to go to Montreal. He stayed there for 4 years, during which he was a political science student for one year, worked on radio, wrote humorous stories and played them in night clubs.
In 1992, he came to Paris and took Le Cours Florent course where he has, among others, Isabelle Nanty as a teacher. He wrote a one-man show named 'Décalages' which told a lot about his experiences in Montreal and Paris in 1996. Three years later, he presented his second one-man show named 'La Vie Normale', again staged by Isabelle Nanty. Gad was revealed as a humorist but is also a great actor who starred in various French movies. Gad lived with French actress Anne Brochet and has a son, Noé. Son of horse breeders, the young man spent his childhood in the countryside near Paris. In his youth, Guillaume wanted to be a horse-rider, and briefly followed a professional career in the sport. A bad fall broke his dreams, but is at the origin of his acting career, and success. After briefly studying acting, he started his career. Eclectic and moving, Canet is also a successful director, he has directed movies like Tell No One (2006) and Little White Lies (2010)

In 1995 he began his first one man show, the same year he met Bruno Salomone, Eric Collado, Emmanuel Joucla and Eric Massot with whom he created the "Nous Ç Nous". In 1999, he became "Loulou" in Un gars, une fille (1999). This part permitted him to show his talent to a larger public. Mélanie Laurent was born in Paris, France. She is the daughter of Annick, a ballet teacher, and Pierre, a voice actor, who is most recognized for the French version of The Simpsons (1989). She has a younger brother, Mathieu, and has both Sephardi Jewish (from Tunisia) and Ashkenazi Jewish (from Poland) ancestry. In 1998, Laurent was visiting the set of Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar (1999) with a friend when she caught the attention of Gérard Depardieu. Clémence Poésy was born Clémence Guichard in Paris in 1982. She took her mother's maiden name, Poésy, as her stage name. She attended an alternative school for most of her education, but spent her last year at L'École alsacienne.
She trained at the "Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique", with her first roles being for French TV series between 1997 and 1999, Un homme en colère (1997) and Les monos (1999). Her first feature film was a German production, Olga's Summer (2002) and her second the French production, Bienvenue chez les Rozes (2003).
Her first English speaking feature was as Mary, Queen of Scots, in the Gunpowder, Treason & Plot (2004) TV movie, for which she won the 2005 FIPA for best actress.
Since then she has starred in many films, the most notable being In Bruges (2008), which is probably the start of her worldwide recognition, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011), the US TV series Gossip Girl (2007) and the English TV mini-series, Birdsong (2012). All of these have shown her to be very capable of roles in multiple languages, periods and roles.

Born in Saumur, France on March 4,1955, Dominique Pinon studied literature at the Faculty of Arts in Poitiers after which he moved to Paris and attended the Cours Simon School of Dramatic Arts. He made his first cinematic appearance in Arthur Joffé's 1980 short film La Découverte.
A versatile and gifted actor, he has produced an impressive body of work in film, television and on stage. He is also an accomplished voice-over actor. With over 100 film and short credits, multiple roles in television and over 40 performances in stage theater (garnering him the Molière Award for Best Actor in 2004), he has acted alongside notables Maggie Smith, Sigourney Weaver, Winona Ryder, Audrey Tatou, Gaspard Ulliel and many others. Pinon has the ability to engage an audience and brings to all his roles a relatability that resonates across cultures and genres.
Pinon's first feature film appearance was in Jean-Jacques Beineix's 1981 classic thriller Diva. He went on to work closely with director Jean-Pierre Jeunet, appearing in many of his films including Delicatessen (1991), Alien: Resurrection (1997) and Amélie, (2001). He has worked with many world-renowned directors. Pinon has played numerous roles on television in France and Europe. He appeared as the fan favorite "Master Raymond" in the internationally popular "Outlander" series (2016).
In 2014 he was made an Officer in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, a title given to those who have made a significant contribution to the enrichment of the French cultural inheritance.Bertrand
