- DirectorChristopher NolanStarsChristian BaleTom HardyAnne HathawayEight years after the Joker's reign of chaos, Batman is coerced out of exile with the assistance of the mysterious Selina Kyle in order to defend Gotham City from the vicious guerrilla terrorist Bane.I just LOVE this movie, my third most favorite comic-book movie of all time (and the first or second isn't The Dark Knight). It gets WAY too much hate, it's one of Nolan's more emotional films, and it nails the emotion. Inspiring, majestic, gripping, and of course gritty, The Dark Knight Rises rises above the rest!
- DirectorJoss WhedonStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansScarlett JohanssonEarth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity. It met the hype but I personally prefer TDKR. The Avengers, no doubt, however, had some fantastic writing for all the characters it dared to bring on screen together, and some brilliant, BRILLIANT action. The Hulk was just kickass. The Avengers has all the humor, heroism and all the stakes to make it a benchmark in comic-book movies.
- DirectorMarc WebbStarsAndrew GarfieldEmma StoneRhys IfansAfter Peter Parker is bitten by a genetically altered spider, he gains newfound, spider-like powers and ventures out to save the city from the machinations of a mysterious reptilian foe.I prefer the Raimi trilogy, but this reboot wasn't all that bad. I liked it at parts, and Andrew Garfield is definitely a better Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
- DirectorMark NeveldineBrian TaylorStarsNicolas CageCiarán HindsIdris ElbaJohnny Blaze, tortured by the Ghost Rider's curse, gets a chance of redemption through protecting the Devil's son, whose father is pursuing him.Do I really need to describe this piece of crap?
