- DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreCarole BouquetTopolSecret service agent James Bond is assigned to find a missing British vessel equipped with a weapons encryption device and prevent it from falling into enemy hands.Roger really delivers a great performance here in a much more scaled down, human Bond film. 9.5/10
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsRoger MooreChristopher LeeBritt EklandJames Bond is targeted by the world's most expensive assassin, while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder. One of the best baddies in bond history here with Scaramanga (Christopher Lee). 9.5/10
- DirectorLewis GilbertStarsSean ConneryAkiko WakabayashiMie HamaJames Bond and the Japanese Secret Service must find and stop the true culprit of a series of space hijackings, before war is provoked between Russia and the United States. One of my all time favs, great opening sequence and a stunning bond girl Aki (Akiko Wakabayashi). 9/10
- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryRobert ShawLotte LenyaJames Bond willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E.My favourite performance by Sean here, and what a fight with Robert Shaw. 9/10
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigJavier BardemNaomie HarrisJames Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.Surprisingly very enjoyable somewhat older style Bond adventure. One of the very best endings, Judi Dench is unbelievably good here. 8.5/10
- DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreChristopher WalkenTanya RobertsThe recovery of a microchip from the body of a fellow British secret agent leads James Bond to a mad industrialist scheming to cause massive destruction.Grace Jones, Christopher Walken, the blimp and the golden gate bridge scenes all highlights of an exciting Bond film. 8.5/10
- DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreMaud AdamsLouis JourdanA fake Fabergé egg recovered from the body of a fellow agent leads James Bond to uncover a jewel smuggling operation led by the mysterious Octopussy, and a plot to blow up a NATO air base.Never a dull moment in a fun somewhat light-hearted Bond. Great title. 8.5/10
- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryUrsula AndressBernard LeeA resourceful British government agent seeks answers in a case involving the disappearance of a colleague and the disruption of the American space program. How it all started and possible the most iconic moment ever two words- Ursula Andress. 8/10
- DirectorPeter R. HuntStarsGeorge LazenbyDiana RiggTelly SavalasBritish agent James Bond goes undercover to pursue the villainous Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who is planning to hold the world to ransom.George Lazenby is a major disappointment in what could have been the best ever. 7.5/10
- DirectorJohn GlenStarsTimothy DaltonRobert DaviCarey LowellA vengeful James Bond goes rogue to infiltrate and take down the organization of a drug lord who has murdered his friend's new wife and left him near death.Much more adult themed but still an enjoyable and brisk Bond Thriller.
7/10 - DirectorMartin CampbellStarsPierce BrosnanSean BeanIzabella ScorupcoWhen a powerful secret defense system is stolen, James Bond is assigned to stop a Russian crime syndicate from using it.Pierce's first is definitely his best, great opening and some fun stunt work. 7/10
- DirectorMartin CampbellStarsDaniel CraigEva GreenJudi DenchAfter earning a licence to kill, secret agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007. Bond must defeat a private banker funding terrorists in a high-stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, in Montenegro.Put Bond pretty much back on track in a really good tense and exciting adventure. A little too tough for it's own good at times though. 7/10
- DirectorLewis GilbertStarsRoger MooreLois ChilesMichael LonsdaleJames Bond investigates the mid-air theft of a space shuttle, and discovers a plot to commit global genocide.007 goes into space in this one and Jaws gets a girlfriend, a little all over the place but still a lot of fun. 6.5/10
- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryClaudine AugerAdolfo CeliJames Bond heads to the Bahamas to recover two nuclear warheads stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Agent Emilio Largo in an international extortion scheme. For a good 3/4 of the film very good but the underwater stuff at the end is slightly confusing at times. 5/10
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigChristoph WaltzLéa SeydouxA cryptic message from James Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover the existence of a sinister organisation named SPECTRE. With a new threat dawning, Bond learns the terrible truth about the author of all his pain in his most recent missions.Well acted, well made with some well crafted action sequences however the movie's a good 30mins too long and the story isn't exactly crystal clear at times. A good effort but ultimately disappointing. 4.5/5
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsSean ConneryJill St. JohnCharles GrayA diamond smuggling investigation leads James Bond to Las Vegas where he uncovers an evil plot involving a rich business tycoon.Sean's back in a very forgettable (apart from the excellent bambi & thumper) adventure. Charles Gray doesn't impress much as Blofeld.
4.5/10 - DirectorJohn GlenStarsTimothy DaltonMaryam d'AboJeroen KrabbéJames Bond is sent to investigate a KGB policy to kill all enemy spies, and uncovers an arms deal that potentially has major global ramifications.Timothy Dalton 1st take on the role is a little to serious and lacks the impact others had and would have as Bond. Decent but not memorable.4.5/10
- DirectorMichael AptedStarsPierce BrosnanSophie MarceauRobert CarlyleJames Bond uncovers a nuclear plot while protecting an oil heiress from her former kidnapper, an international terrorist who can't feel pain.Pre titles sequence very good & some decent action sequences, otherwise a somewhat tedious Bond, Denise Richards badly miscast. 4/10
- DirectorIrvin KershnerStarsSean ConneryKim BasingerKlaus Maria BrandauerA S.P.E.C.T.R.E. agent has stolen two American nuclear warheads, and James Bond must find their targets before they are detonated.Remake of Sean's earlier Thunderball adds very little but it was good to see him back as Bond in a non EON/United Artists/MGM production.
4/10 - DirectorRoger SpottiswoodeStarsPierce BrosnanJonathan PryceMichelle YeohJames Bond sets out to stop a media mogul's plan to induce a war between China and the United Kingdom.A fun popcorn Bond movie whilst it's on, however instantly forgettable and a bit too long as well, Ms Hatcher & Bond don't make a great team
3.5/10 - DirectorMarc ForsterStarsDaniel CraigOlga KurylenkoMathieu AmalricJames Bond descends into mystery as he tries to stop an organisation from eliminating a country's most valuable resource.Poor bond movie trying too hard to be like a Bourne film. Olga Kurylenko isn't a great bond girl and Craig's facial expression barley changes throughout. Gemma Arterton impresses though and Judi Dench is as solid as ever. 2.5/10
- DirectorVal GuestKen HughesJohn HustonStarsDavid NivenPeter SellersUrsula AndressIn an early spy spoof, aging Sir James Bond comes out of retirement to take on SMERSH.All-star spoof of Bond and spy films a few laughs but most miss the target. 2/5
- DirectorLee TamahoriStarsPierce BrosnanHalle BerryRosamund PikeJames Bond is sent to investigate the connection between a North Korean terrorist and a diamond mogul, who is funding the development of an international space weapon.By quite a distance the worst Bond movie of all. CGI effects that 35 years ago would have been poor, stupid storylines- ice palace, invisible car. Brosnan, Berry, Dench do there best but are defeated at every turn by the production. 1.5/10
