IMDbPro caught up with Parvesh Cheena to hear lessons learned from his mentors, what Outsourced means to him 10 years later, and why being "chatty" has gotten him in trouble at auditions.5 of 6
IMDbPro: What has playing Gupta in Outsourced has taught you as an actor?
Parvesh Cheena: So much. That role and experience in Outsourced gave me life-long friends. I thank Ken Kwapis, Alex Beattie, and Robert Borden for the opportunity. It was my first series of the regular role, and I learned so much about timing and improvising for TV. Also, which battles to fight and when you could just go home, happy and proud of the work you did. The show taught me to trust my collaborators and coworkers. We were the first majority Asian cast on network television in such a long time, and I'm very proud of our work ten years ago.
