- DirectorMike B. AndersonGuillermo del ToroRob OliverStarsDan CastellanetaJulie KavnerNancy CartwrightThe scariest Simpsons Halloween show yet, featuring an opening by Guillermo Del Toro. This one had the best opening to any Treehouse of Horror episode ever! This episode itself was just okay, the first segment which parodies the Dr. Seuss was good and you can get a bit of enjoyment out of it. The second segment was pretty decent and the last segment was a bit forgettable. It was an okay episode but definitely worth a watch for that beautiful opening.
- DirectorMike B. AndersonSteven Dean MooreStarsDan CastellanetaJulie KavnerNancy CartwrightAfter killing Bart, Sideshow Bob doesn't know what to do with himself; Homer wakes up with short-term memory loss; Because of radiation, Lisa, Bart and Milhouse gain super-powers.People hated this one but I didn't mind it that much, I did enjoy the first segment of Sideshow Bob finally killing Bart Simpson, the second segment was a bit mediocre as it felt like a rehash of King Homer but instead of Homer being King Kong, he is Godzilla, the third segment was alright too. This one didn't have that much originality but I still thought it was okay. Not to mention Kang's line "Just because it looks like Season 4, doesn't make it Season 4!
- DirectorDavid SilvermanMatthew FaughnanStarsDan CastellanetaJulie KavnerNancy CartwrightA meteorite turns Homer into a rampaging blob with a voracious appetite; Bart brings a Golem to life; an alien invasion hoax turns real. Not bad, this one had a few laughs, I didn't like the first segment with Homer becoming a blob because it felt really uncreative and boring. The second segment was alright but nothing special, the third segment was really good however. Not the best Treehouse of Horror episode but you can get some enjoyment out of this one.
- DirectorMike B. AndersonMatthew FaughnanStarsDan CastellanetaJulie KavnerNancy CartwrightHomer wins an oyster-eating contest against the mythical Cthulhu, Springfield is overrun by plant body-snatchers, Lisa finally snaps and Mr. Burns opens a retirement home with some Jurassic upgrades.Quite bland and forgettable, while it is not as insulting as XXII was, most of the segments were forgettable and uninteresting, the first segment was not that great, the second one was mediocre and the last segment was okay but nothing special. There are a few laughs here and there, but I don't really recommend this one.
- DirectorMike B. AndersonMatthew FaughnanStarsDan CastellanetaJulie KavnerNancy CartwrightHomer takes a dangerous dive into an isolated canyon on Candy Peak, but when a crashing boulder traps his arm, he channels Aron Ralston to save himself. In "The Diving Bell and Butterball," the first of three hair-raising Halloween tales, a venomous spider bite leaves Homer paralyzed, but when Lisa discovers Homer's ability to communicate through natural gases, he is able to express his love for Marge. The killer spells continue in "Dial D for Diddly," when Ned Flanders, devout preacher by day, transforms into a cold-blooded vigilante by night. In the final terrifying tale, "In the Na'Vi," Bart and Milhouse are sent on a mission to obtain a sacred extract on a distant planet. They morph into the land's indigenous one-eyed avatars, but when Bart finds love and an eternal mate abroad, he is caught in planet warfare.Easily the worst Treehouse of Horror episode of all time, the opening scene with was a pretty good parody of 127 hours, but the segments of this episode just sucked! The first segment of Homer farting was unfunny and felt like it would be suited more for a Family Guy episode instead as the fart jokes in that show actually work, the second segment wasn't too bad, but it was nothing special either, and the last segment was just a boring Avatar parody. I highly recommend you do not watch this one!
