- DirectorDirk RegelStarsMaren KroymannNina KronjägerFloriane DanielIt should be a relaxed holiday with her daughter Nora - at least that's how the single mother Maren Bogner imagined it: a journey in the footsteps of Winnetou, a ride to the breathtaking locations of the legendary Karl May films, a holiday of discovery in Croatia. Although Nora doesn't share her mother's enthusiasm, a little variety never hurts. They are accompanied by Nora's best friend, the successful but stressed businesswoman Gabriele Hochmann with a GDR past. Arriving at the starting point of their guided "Winne Tour", the three women make the acquaintance of Elisabeth zu Hallbach-Süren, who, together with her young assistant Simone Lehmann, has also set out for the scenes of German cinema nostalgia. However, not purely for the sake of adventure: the demure aristocrat wants to scatter the ashes of her deceased husband, a lifelong Karl May fan, in Silbersee. It soon turns out that the Wild West romance Maren longed for had long since been replaced by the organizers' commercial calculations, embodied by their tour guide Alejandro, a cowboy caricature with a macho look. Instead of comfortable hotel rooms, there are sparse tents, WLAN reception is unthinkable, wild animals, shying horses and obtrusive male images disturb the idyll. The art of staying in the saddle is also mastered by some of the women, who are so fundamentally different in character, better than others. Although Maren tries desperately not to let her idealistic enthusiasms take away from her, at some point she has to admit that this journey is developing into an increasing stress test and not every one of them is made for the associated hardships. Worse still, with every kilometer that leads the group deeper into the Croatian wilderness, the masks begin to fall: closely guarded secrets are revealed, uncomfortable truths are spoken, mutual relationships falter. At some point the noise between the women is louder than a shot from a silver can - and none of them survive the adventure unscathed.
- DirectorJürgen LedererStarsGojko MiticHorst JansonPatricia FreyIn the endless expanse of the Llano Estacado, a ruthless band of gangsters is up to no good: The Llano-Vultures. The bandits kill the Comanche chief Tevua-Schohe and thus stir up the conflict between reds and whites. The blood brothers Winnetou and Old Shatterhand, together with the Westman Bloody-Fox, have their hands full to hunt down gangster boss Burton and his scoundrels. But there is one more on the gang's heels: the spirit of Llano Estacado, a mysterious apparition. To make matters worse, a trek of German emigrants gets caught between the fronts. In the secret oasis in the middle of the Llano Estacado it comes to the crucial duel between good and evil.
- DirectorNorbert Schultze Jr.StarsGojko MiticHorst JansonDolly DollarThe ancients tell that centuries ago a tribe lived in immense wealth. When the end of the tribe was near, the wise men sank the sacred treasure of their ancestors into the waters of a mysterious lake. The tribe died, but a legend was born. The legend of the treasure in the silver lake. Riding in the footsteps of the legend of the Silver Lake are also the Cornel (Arthur Brauss) and his men, a gang of bloodthirsty tramps. The Missouri-Blenter, a God-fearing farmer, stands in their way - and has to pay cruelly for it: the Cornel murders his family. Blenter himself is saved at the last moment: by Winnetou (Gojko Mitic), the brave chief of all Apaches. At the Black Bear River, Blenter meets not only the Cornel, but also Old Firehand (Horst Janson). The famous hunter is on his way to Silver Lake together with the engineer Ellen Patterson (Dolly Dollar) and Kleiner Bär ("Little Bear") from the Tonkawa tribe to mine valuable ores there. A bloody tomahawk hovers over the area they are passing through: the Utah chief Großer Wolf ("Big Wolf") has dug up the hatchet after white horse thieves rampaged through his village. He now wants to put every paleface to the stake - be they friend or foe. The English Lord Castlepool has no idea of such customs. He travels through the Wild West to experience adventure in the most comfortable way possible. He has hired a whimsical westerner, Tante Droll ("Auntie Droll"), as a guide who is familiar with the area. Droll is also on the Cornel's trail as a detective. For a very short time they even have the villain under their control, but he manages to escape. On the way to Silver Lake, Winnetou and Old Firehand have their hands full, because the Cornel is not afraid of any misdeed. He tries to burn down Butler's farm and rob the railway payroll in the village of Sheridan. When Winnetou and Old Firehand end up as prisoners in the Utah camp, their fight seems lost. But Großer Wolf greatly underestimates his opponents.
- DirectorNorbert Schultze Jr.StarsGojko MiticDunja RajterWayne CarpendaleHe is the best marksman in the Wild West, but also a man whose past is shrouded in mystery: Old Surehand. Restlessly, the young hunter has been roaming the prairie for years to finally confront the man who once destroyed his family - and to find his missing brother. It's a good thing that he has the Apache chief Winnetou and his blood brother Old Shatterhand at his side in this search. But then Old Surehand falls into the hands of the Comanches. War chief Vupa Umugi and the young hot-blooded Apanatschka want him to die at the stake. A dramatic race against time begins - and the British Lord Castlepool also shows that he can be a real hero. But there are many unanswered questions: What role do the shady General Douglas and the aged Old Wabble, the "King of the Cowboys" play? And who is the strange horseman whom everyone calls "Kolma Puschi" but whom no one really knows? Does he perhaps know more about Old Surehand's fate than everyone suspects? Has Old Surehand perhaps even met his brother before without recognizing him? And will there be a happy ending for the young Westman with the Comanche squaw Lea-tshina, the White Feather? The answers await at "Devil's Head," a dreaded rock in the Rocky Mountains.

- DirectorDrew Hayden TaylorStarsRed HaircrowDrew Hayden TaylorSearching for Winnetou explores the controversy surrounding cultural appropriation of Indigenous culture in an innovative, hilarious, unnerving, yet inspiring way. For years Drew Hayden Taylor, prolific playwright and author of dozens of Canadian-Indigenous books, has noticed a high proportion of German tourists visiting Canada, many who have come looking for a real "Indianer" experience (what Germans call the North American Native lifestyle). Inevitably, almost every one of these Germans will relate stories of Winnetou: Germany's most famous, but mythical, Apache warrior. Winnetou was their childhood hero. As one museum curator explained: "Winnetou is like Superman for the German people". Fascinated with this phenomenon Taylor spent last summer in Germany trying to uncover the over 100-year roots of its Winnetou obsession. There Taylor revealed camps where thousands of Germans dress and attempt to live like Indigenous people. This discovery kicks off a mind-bending journey through history, art, politics, and controversy. Even Adolf Hitler and much of the Nazi elite were bizarrely obsessed with North American Native warriors. "I did not expect to see thousands of Germans dressed in traditional Native outfits, nor reveal that even Hitler himself was obsessed with the Lakota people for years", says director Drew Hayden Taylor. The film is a fascinating exploration of "cultural appreciation vs appropriation" from the perspective of one of Canada's most beloved Native writers.
