- DirectorPaul CowanAmer ShomaliStarsAlison DarcyWalaa EltitiYazeed FarujaA small Palestinian village bought 18 cows and stopped buying Israeli milk.
- DirectorLina Al AbedIbrahim, my father, left the house one day in 1987, and never came back. I was 6 years old. Ibrahim Al Abed was a secret agent for the "Revolutionary Council" (popularly know as the "Abu Nidal Group"), a Palestinian militant faction that opposed PLO attempts to adopt more peaceful solutions to the conflict with Israel. They grew notorious for intelligence collaborations with Western powers, and were best known for the unbelievable operations it carried out around the world, hunting Palestinian leaders and intellectuals who opposed their vision. Uncertain of Ibrahim's destiny, I grew up in a house where silence was the norm. My mother Najat, a proud Egyptian lady, had to continue her life normally, raising Ibrahim's five children in Damascus, and blaming only her misfortune. Partially investigative, partially emotional, the film draws a character of a man missing, by connecting locations, faces, and thoughts that shaped my father's world. Through interaction with the family members and spaces we once shared, I step into Ibrahim's light, drawing me fears and traumas out of the shadows. Today, I'm aware of how much his absence affected my life and personality. It shaped my vision of family, friendship and love.
- DirectorAnnemarie JacirStarsTarek Abu AssabAshraf Abu MochReem Abu-SbaihOccupied Palestine: A serene landscape now pockmarked by military checkpoints. When a Palestinian film crew decides to avert a closed checkpoint by taking a remote side road, the political landscape unravels, and the passengers are slowly taken apart by the mundane brutality of military occupation. Both a visual poem and a narrative about the fragmentation of a people, "like twenty impossibles", also questions the politics of filmmaking and the opportunism of artists.

In Jordan, a different kind of change is underway as tens of thousands of refugees pour across the border from Palestine. Having been separated from his father in the chaos of war, Tarek, 11, and his mother Ghaydaa, are amongst this latest wave of refugees. Placed in "temporary" refugee camps made up of tents and prefab houses until they would be able to return, they wait, like the generation before them who arrived in 1948. With difficulties adjusting to life in Harir camp and a longing to be reunited with his father, Tarek searches a way out, and discovers a new hope emerging with the times. Eventually his free spirit and curious nature lead him to a group of people on a journey that will change their lives. - DirectorYousry NasrallahStarsRim TurkiOrwa NyrabiaBasel KhayyatIn the beginning was Palestine, and the story of Younes (Orwa Nyrabia) began, known as Abou Salem, known as the Man, said to be the father of Ibrahim, fighting the English from the age of 16, still fighting, but retrenched in the Lebanon, illegal in his own country ; the story of Nahila (Rim Turki) also began, married to him when she was twelve, breast-feeding their first child, born during the villagers' exhausting trek towards the North, fleeing their burning homes, Nahila whom he met secretly in a cave in Bab El Chams, in Galilee. Again it is the story of Doctor Khalil (Bassel Khayat), abandoned by his mother in the shambles of the refugee camps, who, in Beirut, rescued Younes in a deep coma, lulling him with the tragic story of his people ; and yet again it is that of Chams (Hala Omran) whom Khalil loved and was executed by his companions in arms. A thoroughbred gets loose and runs to a mined field; soldiers and Palestinians must cooperate to rescue it. As darkness falls, tensions between army and villagers rise, and the groom's wedding-night anger and impotence threaten family dignity and honor. Can cool heads prevail?
- DirectorMichel KhleifiStarsMira AwadMohammad BakriAcclaimed director Michel Khleifi's story of a Palestinian film-maker 'M' living in Europe, who returns home to Ramallah to film witness accounts of the 1948 Nakba - not only explores the events of that tumultuous era, but places them in context with the uncertainty and tension of present-day Palestine. Over the course of a single day and night, M's solipsistic existence is shaken when his nephew kills a man in Nazareth, placing the entire family at risk of reprisals. This masterful feature - a quietly witty, complex and occasionally surreal depiction of an exile's relationship with Palestine - marks a new direction in Khleifi's work.

- DirectorKamel El BashaConnie FieldStarsRamzi MaqdisiGeorgina AsfourMohammed Al-BashaAn African American gospel choir is the Greek chorus for a Palestinian play on Martin Luther King, Jr. which tours the West Bank, preaching nonviolence. The devoutly Christian choir grew up in churches strongly allied with Israel. On their first trip to the Holy Land they witness the harsh realities of life under occupation, a nonviolent movement for justice, and an assassination. Our story is a unique view of a crucial human rights conflict. Mixing the excitement of foot-stomping gospel music and creative theater it reveals the power of art to communicate, heal, and give voice to communities living in fear. - DirectorSusan YoussefForbidden to Wander chronicles the experiences of a 25-year-old Arab American woman traveling on her own in the occupied territories of the West Bank and Gaza Strip during the summer of 2002. The film is a reflection on the complexity of Palestinian existence and the torturously disturbing "ordinariness" of living under constant curfew. The film's title reflects this, as the Arabic words used to describe the imposed curfew "mane' tajawwul" literally translate as "forbidden to wander". The video is also the journey of personal discovery for the filmmaker, the wanderer who falls in love with a Palestinian man in Gaza.

These seven children tell their own story about growing up in Jerusalem. The aim was to give the principal island of this Crown Colony, Diego Garcia, to the Americans who wanted it as a major military base. Indeed, from Diego Garcia US planes have since bombed Afghanistan and Iraq. The story is told by islanders who were dumped in the slums of Mauritius and in the words of the British officials who left a 'paper trail' of what the International Criminal Court now describes as 'a crime against humanity' .
