- DirectorRémi DelescluseStarsFrancois-Xavier AwatarThierry BenoitArmin BergerThe hypermarket appeared in the 1960s and is symbolic of mass consumption. In Europe, mass retailing controls 70% of food sales. However, the hypermarket model seems to be in decline for some time, threatened by online sales in particular. To save its profitability, the sector is developing violent methods of cost reduction and purchasing negotiations. Meeting food suppliers, former executives of the supermarket industry and experts, the director draws up an inventory of a sector in crisis.
- DirectorRémi LabedThomas LafargeThe Internet is the scene of a high-intensity conflict based on commercial and geopolitical interests in which all the tricks are allowed. Over the last twenty years, a player with overwhelming ambitions has imposed itself. China no longer hides its desire to overtake the United States - the main target of its cyberattacks - by becoming the world's leading power. In the early 2000s, young Chinese patriotic hackers, acting independently of state authority, defaced American websites - such as the US Navy's - with political slogans. Since then, the Middle Kingdom's digital capabilities have changed in scale. According to the United States, the country is now engaged in unprecedented theft of industrial and commercial information to fuel its development.

Chief Inspector Ingo Thiel immediately begins the investigation, but for the time being he and his SOKO team are groping in the dark: no witnesses, no enemies, just an earring found in the park. - DirectorThomas KronthalerStarsSaskia VesterHeinz-Josef BraunFanny KrauszJohanna and Heinz Sailer live on a farm in Bavaria with his mother Magdalena, who is in need of care. The adult children Caroline and Christof have moved to Munich for their training, but they still like to visit their parents and their bulging refrigerator on weekends. When Magdalena dies unexpectedly one evening, the couple's grief soon gives way to very pragmatic considerations: grandma's pension and care allowance were an integral part of the household budget. The installments for the new tractor have to be paid, the children are far from being able to support themselves financially and Johanna doesn't want to miss out on her monthly visits to the hairdresser. So they simply put the deceased to rest in the freezer instead of reporting her death. When Caroline and Christoph come to visit, they initially react with horror at the macabre game of hide-and-seek. But even for them, moral concerns quickly give way to financial considerations. Using tricks, excuses and a talent for improvisation, the family manages to keep their grandmother's death a secret. Heinz in particular is plagued by remorse because of his mother's frosty interim storage, but going back seems more difficult with each passing day. However, when, completely unexpectedly, Magdalena's level of care is due to be checked, the fraud inevitably threatens to be exposed. Then Johanna has the saving idea: There is a senior citizen named Erni in the neighborhood who would be perfect as a grandmother double. Their loveless children can be persuaded to go on a spontaneous vacation by offering to take Erni in. Everything seems to be going like clockwork - until it turns out that the supposedly senile grandma is not as deranged as she seems. On the contrary: Erni sees through her hosts' game and makes very specific demands in return for their silence. Out of necessity, the family agrees to the deal. With her humorous, idiosyncratic manner, the old lady causes quite a stir at the Sailerhof - but also helps with family conflicts with down-to-earth advice. The Sailers soon become deeply attached to their smart "loan mom" and would prefer not to give her away at all. But finally something happens that no one expected and that could put the clever farming family in dire straits.

- DirectorMaria-Anna WestholzerStarsMartin WuttkeBritta HammelsteinJustus von DohnányiUlrich Kainer, an urban hermit and early retiree with a questionable past, realizes that death has firmly set his sights on him. Nobody will miss him, nobody is waiting for him. So he decides to find his last days surrounded by healthy country air in the quiet of a contemplative village. However, he did the math without the village, its inhabitants and the equally badly loaded animals of the forest. A landlord who sells him as a professional killer in the fight against his adversary, a beautiful, but single-parent, affectionate farmer, an avant-garde Nazi troop, extremely angry animals and a commissioner running amok deny him the longingly awaited peace in the country. The country air is full of lead and "nobody dies here today" sounds easier than it is.
- DirectorHermine HuntgeburthStarsJens HarzerCorinna HarfouchElisa PlüssWhen the misanthropic tile salesman Lothar is diagnosed with a terminal disease, he sells his business and gives his dog and all his money to an animal shelter and checks into a hospice, where it turns out that he was misdiagnosed.

And when she wants to take the roast lamb to her hard-working husband, she sees him busy taking his secretary's clothes off. That's it. Anna is off. The perfectionist chef is under pressure because she wants to serve up the best spaghetti bolognese of her life during a trial cooking for her dream job that evening. Philipp has to prove himself in his new job as a tourist guide in a difficult group. A plane bomb that paralyzes Cologne's city center means extra stress to the power of three for the two of them. The single parents spontaneously team up: she looks after her seven-year-old son Fritz and his daughter Miriam, who is the same age, in the morning, and he takes care of the children in the afternoon. Unfortunately, there are certain breaks in the spontaneous plan: Frederike cannot go to her apartment because of the lockdown and absolutely has to find a professional kitchen to prepare her food there. For a spontaneous apartment viewing, Philipp needs a pregnant woman at his side in order to get an urgency bonus from the real estate agent. When Frederike steps in, the two do surprisingly well as a couple. And little by little, more than good team spirit is developing between her and Philipp.

She has a brilliant reputation and is equally popular and respected by employees and business partners. In her private life, too, everything is going very well for the power woman: She leads a happy family life with her husband Kai and their children. The casual businessman turns her head with charm, humor and empathy. At his side Victoria experiences a romance that has long been lost in her harmonious but routine relationship with Kai. Even after their return home, Jacques does not give up. Victoria reacts insecure, but at the same time feels flattered - and finally spends a passionate night of love with her admirer. - DirectorGabi KubachStarsChristine NeubauerTimothy PeachMartin FeifelGermany, 1944: In the east the war is entering its final phase when the soldier Karlheinz Rombach is given another leave from the front and spends a few carefree hours with his attractive wife Eva. While Eva's father Julius, in contrast to his level-headed wife Magdalena, still believes in victory, Karlheinz is anxious about his return to the Eastern Front. When saying goodbye, he asks his childhood friend Sebastian, who is exempt from military service due to a war injury, to look after Eva and his little son Peter if worse comes to worst. Shortly before the end of the war, Karlheinz was taken prisoner by the Soviets and the letters he wrote home never arrived. The years pass, but Eva firmly believes in the return of her husband. Little does she suspect that Karlheinz was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment in a labor camp after a failed attempt to escape. While Eva had a tough time in the post-war years, friends and family kept telling her that it was time to get involved with another man - after all, the boy needs a father too. But it was only when Sven Elsenau, returning from the war, appeared in the summer of 1948 and Eva took the last glimmer of hope for her husband's return, that she gave in to Sebastian's shy solicitation. After years of privation and suffering, Eva feels joy in life again for the first time - when Karlheinz suddenly stands in front of her .
- DirectorPeter SämannStarsChristine NeubauerGötz OttoAugust SchmölzerGermany, 1946: The war has exhausted the country, unemployment and hunger determine people's everyday lives. The Sudeten German Clara also feels the hardship. She had to flee Marienbad and was forcibly quartered in an Upper Franconian village with her war-disabled brother-in-law Johann. The locals' rejection of the "refugee pack" is not their only concern. Six-year-old Heidi, one of the four children Clara looks after after her sister's death, has tuberculosis and urgently needs medication. In order to be able to pay the black market price, Clara applies as a seasonal worker on the cherry orchard at Gut Braunfels. She is lucky because her great love Martin, whom she had to leave seven years ago because of the children, works here as an administrator and selects her from a large number of applicants. The work is hard, but Clara is tough and her love for Martin gives her strength. Both dream of a future together, but their plans are suddenly thwarted: the wealthy landowner Andreas von Braunfels longs for an heir, but his ailing wife Ariane can no longer have children after three miscarriages. Von Braunfels' interest in the self-confident Clara, who refuses to be intimidated and climbs to the highest treetops even in wind and rain, quickly arouses the envy of the other harvest workers. When a colleague steals her hard-earned wages, von Braunfels makes Clara an immoral offer that could save Heidi: He wants Clara to give him an heir and offers her 20,000 Reichsmarks in return. Clara has no choice - but if she accepts the offer, she will lose Martin forever.

- DirectorJan RuzickaStarsMira BartuschekMax von ThunMartin FeifelMia is bored with her life as housewife and mother. She wants to go back to school to educate herself and take a job. Since she has recently successfully tackled a burglar in a neighboring house, she is offered training to join the police force. - DirectorImogen KimmelStarsGünther Maria HalmerTeresa WeißbachFloriane DanielIt's been six months since his beloved wife died, and Kurt Tobaben (Günther Maria Halmer) still can't get over the loss. The wealthy glove manufacturer from Hamburg neglects his company, hides in his villa and mourns the past. Only a trip to Travemünde changes the mind of the desperate widower: in a hotel bar he meets Luzy Ditten (Teresa Weißbach), who works there as a waitress and immediately casts a spell over him with her open, understanding nature. From then on, he meets the much younger woman more often; soon a tender rapprochement develops between Luzy, the lively blonde with a penchant for the color pink, and Kurt, caught in his suffering, a solid entrepreneur in mature manhood. When he decides to engage her as a "personal partner" and take her to Hamburg, those around him feel alienated. There is whispering in social circles, while Kurt's relatives, especially daughter Karin (Floriane Daniel), are extremely critical of the new woman at his father's side. In general, family cohesion is not the best: the work at the municipal art foundation is getting on Karin's nerves, and when she wants to organize an exhibition for artist friend Ruth Brede (Ingeborg Westphal), the sponsors jump out of her - not exactly the best Timing for family conflicts. Meanwhile, Kurt's son Kai (Ole Tillmann) is plagued by his conscience: for years he didn't tell his father, who supported him financially, that he had chosen a career as a chef instead of taking over the company. When the cards are finally laid on the table, things don't go as planned, and everyone involved is forced to make their own choices for a happier future. The title could not have been chosen better: A "fresh wind" often blows through this sensitively developed story, in which the motif of returning to life after a dramatic beginning slowly develops into a cheerful, melancholic, hopeful description of personal new beginnings. In the sensitive staging by director Imogen Kimmel, the characters gain increasing depth, revealing their strengths and weaknesses in a comprehensible way, which is not least due to the cast: Günther Maria Halmer embodies the grieving widower, who is also a proud patriarch, in his inimitably level-headed manner and wants to be a romantic beau, Teresa Weißbach knows how to convince Luzy as a life-affirming muse. Floriane Daniel also shines in strong supporting roles as the overwhelmed daughter Karin and the incomparable Ingeborg Westphal, whose artist Ruth, chapped by fate, exudes her very own magic.
- DirectorAndi NiessnerStarsJanina HartwigFrancis Fulton-SmithChristine SchornJens Lehnert sends his grumpy consultancy partner and key employee Carla Schneider to audit the old-fashioned mint farming of a collective in Saxony. In an attempt to coax a probably negative report, unwitting the assessor is female, she's lodged with its director Simon Vorberg and his charming family, but it alas starts on a frightening tone. Gradually, she's charmed by the village and especially the Vorbergs, alas unlike the enterprise, yet is inspired by the inventive villagers' fair stalls.
- DirectorAndrea KatzenbergerStarsChiara SchorasStephan LucaAugust ZirnerThe young, talented and idiosyncratic concert pianist Lotta Basalle is about to make a big comeback: the celebrated musician withdrew from the public for three years after almost dying in a serious car accident. Music fans and critics are now all the more excited about their first concert. But despite constant rehearsals under the conductor - her partner - Björn Larsson, Lotta feels that the magic that used to rouse people to storms of enthusiasm simply no longer applies to her piano playing - where the music used to seem to flow from her fingers , since the accident her playing seems strained and cramped. In order to finally find her way back to her old spirit and playful inspiration, Lotta decides to retire to a small, intimate luxury hotel in the idyllic Rheingau for the days before the concert. Her domineering mother is anything but enthusiastic about this idea, since it is exactly the place where Lotta had the accident three years ago after the painful separation from her boyfriend at the time. As soon as she arrived at the Hotel Rheinblick, Lotta asked for absolute silence for the duration of her stay - her only attention is on the concert grand piano in her suite, which she only leaves to go jogging in the morning. Even the thought of relaxation and sensual pleasure seems a useless distraction in Lotta's eyes. Sebastian Brandt, the hotel's charmingly stubborn chef de cuisine, sees things very differently: For him, inspiration and artistic power come from a conscious devotion to good wine and excellent food. And no matter how harshly Lotta initially rejects his delicious creations, Sebastian is undeterred and serves her a lovingly prepared menu every day. And in fact he gradually succeeds in breaking through the rough shell of the dogged artist. Lotta begins to recognize a kindred spirit as an artist in Sebastian, who is also struggling with a broken heart. A tender love develops between the two. But then Lotta's strict mother and a little later worried Björn show up at the hotel.
- DirectorErwin KeuschStarsAnica DobraHeio von StettenJulia DietzeAfter separating from her husband, the Berlin teacher Anna Wiegand turns her back on the big city to take over the management of the elementary school in an idyllic Black Forest village. This brings her closer to her daughter Caroline, who is studying in Freiburg and is now trying to benefit from her mother's cooking skills and washing machine. With a lot of enthusiasm, the dedicated teacher Anna wants to bring a breath of fresh air into the dusty everyday school life. But her unorthodox ideas offend her colleagues, who are skeptical about anything new. The stale school secretary Brigitte Schäufele in particular, not enthusiastic about the introduction of the computer, never misses an opportunity to use her good connections to the local hairdressing salon to spread wild rumors about the new director's strange teaching methods. Anna's meeting with her landlord, Count Alexander von Schönberg, doesn't go too smoothly either. When his snarling hound, her long-haired cat E.T. hunts for the nearest tree, Anna also extends her claws and shows the snooty aristocrat that she is not impressed by his charm and noble title. When she discovered that von Schönberg's daughter Lilly, of all people, had a reading disability that the smart girl had been able to cover up by learning by heart, the Count didn't believe a word the new teacher said. Together with other concerned parents, von Schönberg starts a signature campaign against the uncomfortable headmistress. When many parents then deregister their children, the school even faces the threat of closure. Luckily, the resourceful caretaker Janosch has a convincing argument against the closure. When the students form a spontaneous demo, the bad mood towards Anna changes. The lovingly staged Heimatfilm "Schöne Aussicht" offers a lot of comedic elements in addition to a lot of local color. Anica Dobra as the teacher and Heio von Stetten as the landowner play a dog-and-cat couple. The film was shot in the tranquil town of Münstertal in the southern Black Forest and also in Staufen, Freiburg and the surrounding area.

Nothing works without him in "his" prison, and if need be, he even knocks out a much younger fellow inmate. - and that at over 80 years of age, mind you. However, his advanced age is increasingly taking its toll, which has not escaped the notice of the prison doctor. Boxer is to be transferred to a prison especially for senior citizens - the idea alone makes the sprightly prison veteran shudder. But then his buddy Henne tells him that he has finally found what he is looking for in the search for Boxer's great love Kathrin, and even more: He has found out that Kathrin has a daughter - and she looks amazingly like Boxer ... Suddenly he old crooks no longer have anything against being transferred to senior citizens' prison. From there, he has resolved, he will be able to escape. And then he will see the woman he once wanted to marry, and maybe his daughter too. However, there was one thing Boxer did not expect: his former friend Wallberg is also housed in his new prison home. Boxer had committed several robberies with him and Henne in the 80s, including a spectacular jewel robbery worth millions. Boxer and Wallberg were convicted, nothing could be proven against Henne. The booty was gone. Boxer, while still in custody, beat Wallberg to the hospital. He suspected that Wallberg had at least one eye on Kathrin. In the senior citizens' prison, Wallberg plays the harmless demented quite convincingly in order to be able to deal undisturbed with medicines. But Boxer saw through him and continued to be confrontational - until Wallberg suggested they flee together. What Boxer doesn't suspect: thanks to Henne's involvement, Wallberg has the same motive as he does - after all, Kathrin's daughter could also be his child. The escape succeeds, the former crook trio is reunited and first wants to dig up the loot from the grave of millions, so that they can finally see Kathrin again. But the outside world has changed since Boxer and Wallberg's convictions, and nothing is going quite as well as Boxer thought it would.

Her husband Walter has long been hiding how bad things are with his small wine business and their joint finances. When he finally wants to tell her, Walter suffers a fatal heart attack. Hanna, from whom he also concealed his health problems, now finds out everything at once: They have been living on credit for a long time - most recently with dubious loans at usurious interest rates. Now even the apartment can no longer be held, and the bailiff will soon come. Despite the blows of fate, Hanna bravely tries to take her life into her own hands. However, there is an insurmountable hurdle: in order to be able to receive social benefits, her daughter Elke must also be brought in. That is out of the question for Hanna because her only child broke up with her. No matter where she turns - to her friends Gabriele and Klaus or the specialist advisor at the social welfare office - everywhere she is referred to her daughter. Hanna would rather sleep in the homeless shelter or under a bridge than let Elke pay for her. More and more she takes on life on the street: She picks up leftover food from plates and drinks bottles that have been thrown away, she rummages through garbage cans and doesn't let men like the bottle collector take anything away from her. Hanna finds shelter and protection with Mecki, who lives with other homeless people. There she also learns that many like her have ended up on the street despite work. Hanna's daughter Elke cannot continue as before. She had told her friend Lars, as well as daughter Paula, that her parents were long dead. Now when the truth comes out, Lars urges a reconciliation. The two have been married for 14 years. Luckily, the only thing they still lack is a child. Ines in particular makes this difficult to achieve. Despite the confidence of her gynecologist, self-doubt gnawed at her. When 16-year-old Clara joins her class, Ines can hardly believe her eyes: she is convinced that she recognizes the girl as her daughter, whom she gave up for adoption after the birth. Her insecure living situation was the reason for the step. For all these years she had suppressed this painful chapter of her life and never told Boris anything about it either. Her best friend Simone, the only person who knows about the story, urgently advises Ines to keep her distance from Clara and, if necessary, even to apply for a transfer. But Ines ignores all concerns and tries to get close to the young woman, who grew up as the child of a wealthy doctor couple and knows nothing about the adoption. Since the teenager has problems at school, the adoptive parents ask Ines of all people to tutor their daughter. Contrary to official regulations, according to which she is not allowed to give her students private lessons, she agrees - the desire to be close to her daughter outside of school outweighs all the threatening consequences. A trusting, friendly relationship quickly develops between the two. Clara finds understanding and the ease with her teacher that she misses so much in her overcautious parents. The longer Ines keeps up the game of hide-and-seek, the more complicated the situation becomes. While Boris suspects an affair in view of his wife's frequent absences, Clara's adoptive mother reacts incomprehensibly to the teacher's increasing interference in family upbringing issues. When Ines finally dares to take the decisive step and tells her daughter the truth, the girl's world collapses.

- DirectorJörg GrünlerStarsSenta BergerHenry HübchenMichael RollThe dishes are smashed, the lampshade broken, the curtain torn down. The relationship between Marlene and her husband Paul seems to be over. In fact, the two have not gotten along so well for a long time - and out of sheer high spirits they have just made up for their bachelorette party. This is what Marlene is most surprised about, because her plan was actually quite different: the insurance broker wants to divorce her easy-going husband, who has been cheating on her constantly for the past 30 years of marriage. The long-awaited line would have been drawn with the sale of their Berlin apartment. But unfortunately Paul has just moved back in here because one of his lovers kicked him out. Sale and divorce - that's too quick for him, so he objects to the lawyer's appointment: Marlene has never documented the separation of table and bed, and the ex-girlfriends also don't want to testify that the womanizer lived with them: Consequently, Paul is in agreement with the law on an official year of separation. Marlene is boiling with anger because now she has to postpone her planned marriage to her boyfriend Alexander for twelve months. Unless Paul would give in sooner. In order to make hell hot for him, Marlene also moves back into the shared apartment. However, the (in)voluntary marriage-WG develops differently than expected.

Having crossed to the right one, they wander into a tempting German free sex commune, before even learning Harald is now an orthodox monk in a monastery, which observes lent silence, albeit without fasting. The old rivals should pull together to help their "ex" Isolde. After years of radio silence, she asks the two gentlemen to temporarily run their dance school in order to be able to recover from a broken leg. What Hans and Joachim initially do not suspect: the clever Isolde plays them off against each other and tells both what they want to hear. Because everyone gets started in their own way, it initially rumbles violently at the dual leadership. But the two soon realize that things get better together and that their different characters actually complement each other perfectly. Joachim is a far-sighted manager and a good ballroom dancer, the spontaneous Hans can win people over. In this way they even manage to compensate for the failure of the rousing dance teacher Martha. Luckily, she passed her talent on to her son Carlo. Right away, he not only stirs up the senior group with his hip-hop moves, but also inspires the newly recruited school classes. With the trio, a new groove comes into the dance school. But not everyone likes the success. The first tests for the dream team are not long in coming.

While Albert is happy to be back at last, his former rival Astrid, with whom he shares a timid love, does not know how to behave towards him - after all, he had only contacted her once in all that time . However, it does not take long before Albert wins over the offended Astrid again with charm and wit - much to the annoyance of her jealous ex-husband Uwe. Astrid and Uwe's grown-up daughter Claudia has also been in an emotional low since her husband Mario had to travel to England for a few months on business - she is convinced that he accepted the job not only for business reasons. In this situation, Claudia is just right when Albert's deputy, young manager Max Pohlmann, courted her according to all the rules of the art. Meanwhile, the amorous Albert Astrid surprises with the decision to quit his top-class managerial position in order to join her small family shipping company as a partner. With that, however, the conflicts are inevitable, because the two stubborn heads have very different ideas about how the shipping company Wünsche is to be run. To make matters worse, Albert ran aground on his maiden voyage as captain Astrid's beloved excursion ship MS Carina. Since repairing the ancient boat would be more expensive than buying a new one, Astrid decides with a heavy heart to scrap the "Carina". And as if that weren't enough trouble, she learns a little later that Albert lied to her and that in truth he hasn't quit his old job, apparently to keep all options open. She turns away from him, disappointed at this trickery. Only after a tip from his "rival" Uwe does Albert find an original way of proving the sincerity of his feelings to Astrid.
- DirectorIlse HofmannStarsGaby DohmGünther Maria HalmerNina WenigerThe small Berlin shipping company Wünsche is a real family business: Together with her daughter Claudia and her husband Mario, Astrid Wünsche has been offering sightseeing tours through the canals of the capital for many years. Astrid's divorced husband Uwe, with whom she still gets on well despite a painful separation, takes care of the on-board catering and runs a small gourmet restaurant on one of the landing stages. The desires do not yet suspect that dark clouds are brewing over their little idyll: A major American shipping company is pushing into the Berlin market, and top manager Albert Marquard is right with any means to secure a supremacy for the group. With "donations" and "favors" he attracts politicians and committees to his side. Marquard is particularly interested in the route that Astrid covers with her excursion boat. He takes part in one of her tours incognito - and immediately takes a liking to the charming and confident shipowner. Suddenly the tough manager shows himself from an unusually sensitive side: He courted Astrid according to all the rules of the art, surprises her with invitations and carries them out elegantly. Mario alone is suspicious of the urbane Albert. Rightly so, as it soon turns out, because despite his personal affection for Astrid, Marquard threatens to mercilessly force the shipping company Wünsche out of business. When Astrid finds out who her new admirer really is, she turns away from him, disappointed. Determined not to let herself get down, she declares war on the mighty competition. And while Astrid is already hatching a clever plan with her family, Albert has to decide whether he wants to follow his heart or the business interests of his group.
