Known by the younger generation for his role as Voldemort in the Harry Potter film series, Ralph Fiennes has been gracing our stages and our screens since the mid-eighties. He was trained in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, achieved prominence with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and first made a name in films with his role of Amon Goeth in Steven Spielberg’s Schlindler’s List in 1993. And since then he’s starred in a wide variety of films, with major pictures including the James Bond Series (starring as M), The Constant Gardener, The English Patient, and Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Fiennes’ film work has ranged from thrillers (Spider) to animated Biblical epic (The Prince Of Egypt) to camp nostalgia (The Avengers) to romantic comedy (Maid in Manhattan) to historical drama (Sunshine). Oh – and in 2011, Fiennes also made his directorial debut with his film...

Landing a coveted role in Doctor Who is a surefire way to guarantee future employment. In fact, if the big screen doesn’t beckon after you’ve left your mark on the mythology of one of TV’s most formidable franchises, you’ve probably done something wrong.
Most of the time, though, the show’s cast are destined for bigger and better things when the time comes for them to call it a day on their extra terrestrial escapades. Their respective tenures in the Tardis make them household names and, after paying their dues and facing off with a plethora of the universe’s most formidable foes, it’s only fair that they should leave the Whoniverse feeling safe in the knowledge that the world is now their oyster. After all, they’ve saved it enough times!
So, what are our stars of time and space up to now,...

Apparently Cameron Diaz is as persuasive as she is beautiful and hilarious, because she just talked the notoriously persnickety MPAA into reversing the harsh R-rating that they bestowed her new comedy "The Other Woman," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Diaz appeared alongside 20th Century Fox president of production Emma Watts to fight for a more lenient PG-13 rating for the romantic comedy, in which she stars alongside Leslie Mann and Kate Upton, getting revenge on the man that did them all wrong. The meeting was held on Tuesday, with the Classification and Ratings Appeal Board overturning the ruling almost immediately after.
Originally, the film was rated R for "some sexual references," and, sadly, not for full-on Kate Upton nudity. Now, teens everywhere can go see the film and imagine the day when they will align themselves with similarly scored women to get back at the men who did them wrong.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has unveiled an official synopsis.
Columbia Pictures' announcement for the start of production on the film has confirmed Paul Giamatti's role in the movie.
Thor's Colm Feore will also take on an unnamed part in the film.
"In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy - between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough," said Columbia.
"Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep.
"Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past."
