- On June 28th 2007, the Seattle Supersonics traded Ray Allen and the rights to 35th overall pick Glen Davis to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Wally Szczerbiak, Delonte West and the rights to the 5th overall pick Jeff Green. With the trade to the Boston Celtics, Allen joined Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to form a "Big 3" and brought a new era of relevance to the long struggling franchise.
