In 1956, as "Queen Of The Seebees", she welcomed back the crew of the US Navy seaplane tender Curtiss back to Long Beach from three months in the Antarctic.
Suffered a miscarriage in December 1966.
She was a heavy chain smoker.
Upon her death, she was cremated, and her ashes given unto the custody of a surviving niece.
