The bio-pic crime drama House of Manson will release in the United States on digital and physical media on August 5th from Gravitas Ventures.
Read more about the film from the official details below.
From The Press Release
Following a successful film festival run, director Brandon Slagle's "House of Manson" - a tense crime drama based on the life of notorious criminal Charles Manson, will be making its debut on digital platforms and physical media on August 5th in the United States from Gravitas Ventures.
Previously released in the UK as "Manson", the film follows the life of Charles Manson from childhood to his arrest at Barker Ranch following his involvement in the deaths at the Tate and Labianca residences (among others) during the summer of 1969, which ultimately led to his trial and sentencing.
Charles Manson, Tex Watson, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Leslie Van Houten all remain incarcerated to this day.
The film stars Ryan Kiser (Dead Sea) in the title role of Charles Manson. Having previously portrayed the role in the unrelated short film "Lie" in 2009, Kiser's performance has gained accolades for his fresh take on the character, portraying him not as the ranting caricature often seen in low budget film adaptations of the story but as a flawed, human individual who also happens to be responsible for some of the most heinous acts in United States history.
Also garnering acclaim is Devanny Pinn's (The Black Dahlia Haunting) chilling portrayal of Susan Atkins, who has since died in prison of brain cancer, and Reid Warner's (Oren Peli's Area 51) harrowing and unsettling take on Charles "Tex" Watson - who now ironically runs a Christian outreach program from prison.
Rounding out the cast is Tristan Risk (American Mary) as Abigail Folger, Suzi Lorraine as Sharon Tate, as well as Serena Lorien, Erin Marie Hogan, Britt Griffith, Chriss Anglin (Supergirl), Julie Rose, and Maxine Wasa.
The film received awards and nominations from festivals all over the world including Snowdance, Canada International Film Festival, International Euro Film Festival, North Hollywood Cinefest, Action On Film, Twin Cities Film Festival, and The California Film Awards.

Four decades removed from the Tate murders, Charles Manson is one of those names that are entirely too capable of sending many a shiver down the spine. On tap right now we have the trailer for the latest film to explore his madness, Brandon Slagle's House of Manson. Check it out!
From the Press Release
House of Manson chronicles Charles Manson's life from childhood up until his arrest following the raid on Barker Ranch months after the infamous Tate/Labianca murders that sent a shockwave not just through Los Angeles but throughout the entire world.
The film was written and directed by Brandon Slagle, who was recently deemed the "go-to-gore-guy" by The Hollywood Reporter during their coverage of the European Film Market. While not a "gory" film, House of Manson is poised to take a more intense approach to the subject matter than previous film and TV iterations have.

Who ever thought we would one day see a film that ridicules Michael Moore? Well, it's happening folks. From David Zucker, director of "Scary Movie 3" and producer of "Superhero Movie," comes "An American Carol," a comedy about an American filmmaker (known as Michael Malone) who's visited by three ghosts after he attempts to abolish the July 4 holiday.
The cast of the flick includes Kevin P. Farley, Kelsey Grammer, Trace Adkins, Leslie Nielsen, Chriss Anglin, Dennis Hopper, James Woods and Jon Voight. The first trailer for the film poppe up over at Yahoo! earlier today, and I have to admit I like what I've seen so far. The footage above is silly, sure, but it's also funny. "An Americal Carol" opens Oct. 3, 2008.
