Yardena Arazi was born on September 25, 1951 in Kibutz Kabri, Israel. She is an actress, known for Sarit (1974), Walk on Water (2004) and Beyond the Walls (1984). She has been married to Natan Tomer since September 13, 1983. They have one child. She was previously married to Amos Tal-Shir.
Started singing in the Beth Rotshild choir, conducted by Efi Netzer, at the age of 16. This led to her being discovered and being accepted to the most successful army choir: Lehakat HaNachal, without an audition.
Daughter Alona was born on October 22nd 1986.
Marcel Marceau is her mother's cousin, and saved her mother during WWII.
Her father was born in Germany but immigrated to Palestine (later Israel) before WWII, her mother was born in France survived WWII as a child and immigrated to Israel in 1949.
