Ludvík Askenazy was born on February 24, 1921 in Ceský Tesín, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer and actor, known for Nocni host (1961), Muj prítel Fabián (1955) and Krik (1964). He was married to Leonie Mann. He died on March 18, 1986 in Bolzano, Italy.
Czech journalist, dramatic and screenwriter. Since the Russian occupation in 1968, he has lived in West Germany and written books especially for children.
