After five months off the air, a staple of broadcast television is back. This week marks the return of late night following the conclusion of the WGA strike.
Just like the 2007-2008 writers’ strike, late night shows were the first to be impacted. The day after the WGA announced it was going on strike in May, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” all closed up shop. Perry Caravello believes he has been given a chance to star in a movie called Windy City Heat, a crime film about a "sports private eye" named Stone Fury. However, there is no such film, as the entire project is an elaborate prank played on him by Don Barris and Mole with the help of producers Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla and real celebrity cameos including Carson Daly, Dane Cook, Tammy Faye Bakker, and William "The Refrigerator" Perry.

Comedian Don Barris, who worked with Rowdy Roddy Piper in comedy and appeared on his podcast, "Piper's Pit", gave us a touching, emotional tribute.
