Julia's Disappearance is a comedy about aging. It's Julia's (Corinna Harfouch) fiftieth birthday and as she gets on a bus she seems bemused and entertained by the entire spectacle of life as it unfolds around her. Julia is so entertained that she doesn't notice an older woman (Renate Becker) who is trying to get Julia's attention, so she can sit in the seat next to Julia. When the woman finally gets Julia's attention, Julia apologizes profusely and the women responds with an off-handed, split second comment that sends Julia into a confused revelry.
