Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 is bringing together its international production and distribution subsidiaries under a new imprint, Seven. One Studios.
The formation of the new unit comes at the end of a period of change, following the sale of subsidiary Red Arrow Studios’ U.S. production arm and the creation of two German production companies.
The restructure will see eight production companies — from Germany, the UK, Denmark and Israel — bundled together alongside sales arm Red Arrow Studios International.
From Germany comes Cheerio Entertainment, Flat White Productions, Pyjama Productions and Redseven Entertainment, with Cpl Productions and Vienna Blood maker Endor Productions representing the UK, July August Productions hailing from Israel and Snowman Productions Denmark.
Seven. One Entertainment Group Chief Content Officer Henrik Pabst will lead Seven. One Studios as CEO while keeping his existing title, with Alexander Pesch CFO and Martin Metzger COO.

Cologne, Germany -- Heads are rolling again at German commercial channel Sat.1, which on Wednesday dropped network boss Guido Bolten after barely a year at the job.
Bolten came in with an aggressive strategy aimed at winning back market share from competitor Rtl. He pulled out the checkbook to lure comedy star Oliver Pocher and top journo Johannes B. Kerner from the public broadcasters. But the ratings didn't follow. Sat.1's market share in the key 14-49 demo stayed flat at 10.8%, even as Rtl pulled ahead, adding 1.2% to 16.9%
So Bolten is out and channel owner ProSiebenSat.1 is overhauling its entire corporate lineup.
The group has already centralized Fiction programming across its portfolio of German channels -- which alongside Sat.1 include Pro7, Kabel1 and several digital and pay channels -- now it has done the same for entertainment and factual programming.

MUNICH -- German commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has set up a new production company called Red Seven Entertainment to create light nonfiction entertainment programming and Web content for the pan-European TV group, the company announced Wednesday.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of ProSiebenSat.1 Media, Red Seven will be run by ProSieben's current head of entertainment and deputy managing director, Jobst Benthues, who will continue in his position.
The new production arm will be a part of Jan Frouman's content acquisitions and production unit at the parent company.
Benthues, who has been at ProSieben since 1995, is responsible for such successful shows as "Germany's Next Top Model", "The Next Uri Geller" and "Beat Your Host", a homegrown format sold to Warner Bros. Television.
