- Raffles Bill was born on August 31, 1895 in Braunau/Inn, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was an actor, known for Victor and Victoria (1933), Grock (1931) and Monika (1938). He died on February 21, 1940 in Berlin, Germany.
- His last movie came in 1940 into being with Hans Deppe's "Der Sündenbock" (1940). Shortly afterwards he died at the age of only 44 because of stomach haemorrhage.
- He impersonated some support roles for the film business of the 30s, among them as an artist in "Grock" (1931) directed by Carl Boese and Reinhold Schünzel's classic "Viktor und Viktoria" (1933).
