Werner Brix was born in Vienna, the son of a policeman and a clerk, and grew up in Klosterneuburg, where he still lives today.
His addiction to acting started with an amateur group in his hometown in the late eighties where he was part of 4 productions.
After his time as a communication engineer, he managed the comedy club "Spektakel" in Vienna in the early 90s and and began acting training with Herwig Seeböck, Erika Mottl and Monica Pagnieux (Le Coq) in Vienna.
Since 1995 he wrote and performed 11 solo comedy shows and received several awards in Austria and Germany (incl. the coveted Salzburger Stier).
At the same time, he started playing in various TV and film productions.
In 2007, he began screenwriting and format development and founded a film production with his wife Magdalena.
