Are Jason and Scot on the chopping block next? We can only hope! Let's see if the girls can stick together and get rid of two of the game's biggest bullies.

Get ready for a new kind of reality competition show. American Grit will take 16 of the toughest men and women in America and have them compete in military-style challenges and obstacles. Over the course of the season, they will truly be put to the test, physically, emotionally and mentally. The contestants are split up into four teams, each one being mentored by a member of the military. These mentors -- Noah Galloway, Rorke Denver, Tawanda "Tee" Hanible and Nick "The Reaper" Irving -- are known as the Cadre. And the series is hosted by none other than WWE's John Cena.
I visited the set in Washington State and got to check everything out and even interview the cast. They talked about comparisons to Survivor, what John Cena is like as a host, how the military heroes mentor the contestants and much more.

This week on Survivor, everybody almost died. After a brutal challenge in scorching 118 degree Cambodian heat, three contestants zonked out from heatstroke, and Caleb took a (Russell) Swan dive that ended with a medevac.
It's really the humidity that kills you.
The Fishy Award goes to Dr. Joe. He stayed calm, cool, and collective while the entire cast twitched and foamed at the mouth like they were extras on The Walking Dead. First Debbie went loopy, then Caleb collapsed and Cydney broke down. Dr. Joe had ice packs, water bottles, and battlefield wisdom for them all. (Though for some reason,...

Survivor is back this week – and by all accounts, it's one of the most difficult environments in the show's 32-season history.
"The conditions are punishing," host Jeff Probst tells People. "There's rain. There's heat. It's just miserable. The problem with the rough conditions is that even a minor cut or scrape can become really dangerous."
If the show's first five minutes are any indication of what's in store for the 18 contestants, it looks brutal.
The show starts like many seasons have started, with contestants throwing supplies aboard while Probst, 54, walks around in his cargo shirt and yells his observations. (One of these seasons,...

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's ... another "Walking Dead" spinoff!
Remember "The Walking Dead" webisodes? Good times. AMC is kind of bringing them back in a creative new series tied to "Fear the Walking Dead." Ftwd is ending its short first season this Sunday, October 4, and Entertainment Weekly said that's also the premiere date of the new web spinoff, "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462." The Web story will start on AMC.com, and every episode after that will first show during commercial breaks in "The Walking Dead" Season 6, which starts Sunday, October 11. But you can also just watch the rest of the episodes online, after they debut on TV.
EW said each mini episode will be under a minute, showing what happens on a commercial flight in the early days of the outbreak, when the passengers discover one of their own is infected. Here's the coolest part: As we noted before,...

The Kelly Clarkson Songbook. That's what we're getting on Wednesday (April 1) night's "American Idol." This is not to question Kelly Clarkson's awesomeness or even the very-goodness of Kelly Clarkson's discography, but there are some people in this "Idol" season who seem like they're going to be well-suited to tonight's theme and other people for home this may be excruciating, especially since the "Idol" voters are back in female-shunning mode this season. Let's see how things go... 8:00 p.m. Et. Greetings from Toronto, where I'm in town visiting the set of "The Strain." Because of timing, I may be pushing my "Survivor" recap to tomorrow morning. But "Idol"? On time! 8:03 p.m. J-Lo Fashion Show Time and she's wearing shorts and a largely concealing top. She still doesn't kneel to greet the crowd. Perhaps the shirt is too billowy. 8:04 p.m. Awwww. Young Kelly Clarkson. How adorable.

Jeff was a guest on "The Tonight Show" Monday night, and Usher and Nick were enlisted for game duty. Usher was partnered with Jeff, and Nick with Jimmy. You can't miss Jeff's attempt to twerk as he demonstrates dance moves. It's a bit painful. Jimmy had to cover his eyes. Jeff: "Usher made me twerk for at least 30 seconds!" Ha. Fyi, Nick Jonas knows nothing about gangster movies. Literally nothing.
In his own sit-down interview, Jeff talked about the final season of "The Newsroom" and touring with his son's band.

Dinah: "Come over to academia. The fun never ends!"

George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, and Matt Damon united in NYC to premiere their new film, The Monuments Men, on Tuesday night. While Matt walked the carpet with his wife, Luciana Damon, on his arm, George brought two special guests of his own - his father, Nick Clooney, and his mother, Nina Bruce Warren. George actually gave Nick a small role in the film, which he talked about when he dropped by The Late Show earlier that evening. According to George, he gave his father one line ("Yeah") but soon discovered that it was really difficult to convince his father to take direction from him. George's dad is no stranger to being in front of the camera, as he worked as a television host and broadcast journalist before his son got famous. Tune into Popsugar Now tonight at 6 p.m. (5 p.m. Central) to see our interviews with George, Matt, and...

Holiday songs! Pentatonix! Benatar! Glitter Blazers! The Sing-Off finale was everything I needed it to be and, yes, I did need it to be something. I needed it to be something my whole family could watch together while I’m home for the holidays. I needed it to be fun and exciting enough to make me think thoughts worthy of writing down later for fellow a cappella knuckleheads to read (“worthy” might be an overstatement, but where better for hyperbole than The Sing-Off?). And I needed it to be, as I think Nick Lachey once said, some damn fine music.

Listen, I’ve seen a lot of magical things in my short time at the EW offices; it’s a cool place. David Blaine straight up proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is a sorcerer by making a deck of cards disappear from my bare hands a few months ago. And I don’t want to get anyone worked up, but maybe the most magical thing I’ll ever see here, I saw today: Pentatonix came to our office and sang, amongst other things, their Beyoncé medley. I laughed; I cried; I wouldn’t blame them if...

The theme of Monday night’s episode of The Sing-Off is its most impressively vague yet: “My Generation.” Anyone who has never watched this show might think that means the teams will sing songs that they were raised on, or maybe even from the decade they were born, but to those people I would scream, “You’re so wrong!” and “Why aren’t you watching The Sing-Off, do you hate good-natured fun?!” Nick Lachey explains the theme as “the songs of yesterday and today,” which he doesn’t seem to understand means All Of The Days.

Things are slowing down for the holiday weekend, but its still pretty busy enough to tame that holiday stress.

Having apologized for a 60 Minutes report that ignored questions about one source’s credibility, reporter Lara Logan and producer Max McClellan have taken a leave of absence.
New Girl is planning another episode about the roommates’ exes, with Adam Brody playing Jess‘ ex. Seems like she had a weakness for energetic guys with dark hair.
First Dylan O’Brien then me, eh?
Monday’s theatrical screenings of Doctor Who‘s “Day of the Doctor” special was the number two movie for the day, ranking only behind The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. In my home town, screenings were fairly limited — you couldn’t catch a matinee — which makes it an even stronger performer.

EW has the first picture of Arrow‘s Ollie in his mask. What do you think?
In further Arrow news, TV Guide reports that another Spartacus alum is joining the show. Katrina Law will play Ra’s al Ghul‘s daughter… no, not Talia, Law will play Nyssa al Ghul. So, where’s Talia?
USA has cancelled Necessary Roughness, according to Deadline. I sampled the sports drama when it added a gay football player but it didn’t hold my interest when he didn’t have a storyline.
snicks told you that Don Lemon will be getting his own show on a trial basis while Erin Burnett is on maternity leave. Once that run is completed, he will guest host Burnett’s show for the following three weeks. I say its the Colbert bump, thanks to Stephen Colbert recently comparing Lemon to a dog milking a goat.

Based on eagle-eyed Amazing Race sleuths, the upcoming season will include the return of Brenchel, cowboys Jet and Cord as well as those awful twinnees. At least we also get to see Margie and Luke, who still own a soft spot in my heart. There’s also a team returning from this season, so watch out for spoilers.
The cast for Gracepoint — Fox’s remake of Broadchurch — just got more amazing with the addition of Breaking Bad‘s Anna Gunn (in Olivia Colman‘s role) and Jacki Weaver as the mysterious lady in who lives in an Rv (though the character is changing, probably to throw off people who’ve already seen Broadchurch).
Anna Gunn and David Tennant? I can’t wait for the Doctor Who/Breaking Bad crossover fanfic this will inspire.
Brace yourselves, there’s another conservative Daily Show in the works, except this one would be syndicated.

The 2013 fall season is here, which means we have some great lines to choose from in the past week of television. From "Breaking Bad" to "Scandal" to "Saturday Night Live," here are 24 of the best quotes from the week of Sept. 29 through Oct. 5.
Warning: There are both spoilers and many things said by Miley Cyrus in this article.
"I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it." - Walter White to Skyler, admitting why he cooked meth, on "Breaking Bad"
"Actually, I quite fancy you from time to time, when you're not yelling at me." - Captain Hook to Emma on "Once Upon a Time"
"Well, anal is what we need right now." - Peter Florrick on "The Good Wife"
"It's like trying to describe salt to someone who's never tasted salt." - Virginia, explaining a female orgasm to William, on "Masters of Sex"
"That's smart.

Gosh, after such a whirlwind fan-dom week we’ve had with the Breaking Bad spin-off and another J.K. Rowling movie in the works, what could possibly be in store for us the week of Sept. 15 – Sept. 22 that could match or top our excitement? Why, it’s the return of Fall TV and the beginning of TV awards season to cap off the week! You’re gonna want to hold on to your remote.

On Survivor, the term Pagonging refers to the post-Merge phenomenon where one tribe systematically votes out the other tribe one by one. It's named after the show's first season, where the five members of the Pagong tribe who went into the Merge were then voted out over the next five Tribal Councils. It's why the middle of the season is typically boring and predictable.
Big Brother 15 has started off with a massive Pagonging. As part of his master plan, Nick created two sides of the house, one of which was the Blonde-tourage, consisting of himself, David, Aaryn, Jeremy, Kaitlin and GinaMarie. You'll notice that three of them have already been evicted and the other three are nominated tonight.

The reveal of a game-changing twist, speculation about a houseguest’s true identity, the birth of a powerful alliance, showmances galore, and a squirrel in a cowboy hat eating corn – all this, and it’s only the second episode of the season? Most Valuable PandererJulie Chen’s announcement of the much-hyped Mvp twist left several of the houseguests reeling from its implications. “Wow, that changes the game completely,” belched Jeremy. “This Bb Mvp might really hurt me,” confessed McCrae, worried that the Mvp could neuter his HoH reign. A beaming, glitter-eyed Aaryn was more optimistic: “I think that I’m...

Plus a Spanish-language Breaking Bad and does Fox’s Gavin & Stacy remake work News
Fox unveiled its fall schedule which doesn’t include any of the big moves that people speculated would happen. Glee will air on Thursday (but will apparently take a hiatus) to make room for the Greg Kinnear series Rake. American Idol and The X-Factor aren’t cutting back. Tuesday nights continue to be comedy night. The one major change is a plan to move Bones and Raising Hope to Friday.
Fox also announced it is returning to the mini-series genre, reviving 24 as a 12-hour story and ordering Wayward Pines, a Twin Peaks-inspired thriller from The Playboy Club creator Chad Hodge. it’s also developing a mini-series about Billy the Kid.
Meanwhile, Fox also released trailers for its new shows. I have a feeling you’ll be most interested in Us & Them, the Americanization of Gavin & Stacey.
