Taurus (April 20 - May 20) is the only zodiac sign that combines so many different traits that it seems absolutely impossible for one person to represent them all. But somehow we really do! And believe me when I say it, because I am a Taurus.
We are loyal, stubborn, sensual, extremely lazy or the most hardworking people out there. We can work without weekends for months but still be the ones who will somehow put their comfort before all. We love hedonistic lifestyle: literally, there are only few things that I enjoy more than going out for some fancy food.
Our preferences are all over the place, and that includes the TV shows we like. So here's a list of series every Taurus will find extremely bingeable.
1. Friends

The character of Dr. Marvin Monroe (Harry Shearer) first appeared in the "The Simpsons" episode "There's No Disgrace Like Home". He would show up during the show's early seasons when Homer (Dan Castellaneta) was preoccupied with his family's perceived normal-ness. Homer looked at his home and saw the suburban ideals of a nuclear family slowly exploding. To combat this, Homer pawned the family TV -- an object he saw as problematic anyway -- and bought therapy sessions with Dr. Marvin Monroe, a family psychiatrist who promised "family bliss or double your money back." It seems the Simpsons were so dysfunctional that even Dr. Monroe couldn't cure them (a shock therapy session goes horribly awry).
Dr. Monroe typically appeared whenever "The Simpsons" required the word of a psychiatric specialist to aid in plot points. He was one of the show's many regular supporting characters, relegated to the background. However, the character...

In the "The Simpsons" episode "Future-Drama", Bart (Nancy Cartwright) and Lisa (Yeardley Smith) visit the mad scientist Professor Frink (Hank Azaria) to get a glimpse into their future. Frink has invented a future-predicting computer, and the Simpson children ask to see what they might look like as teenagers. In the year 2013, Bart is dating a cool skateboarder named Jenda (Amy Poehler) and Lisa, on her way to medical school, has had an on-again-off-again relationship with Milhouse (Pamela Hayden). Marge has been dating Krusty the Clown (Dan Castellaneta) after leaving Homer for committing a flagrant financial crime.
To ensure the episode is sufficiently surreal, there is a scene wherein the teenage Bart and the older Homer (Castellaneta) pass through a quantum tunnel and emerge on the other side with a robot they mysteriously accumulated. The robot is Bender (John Dimaggio), the drunken droid from Matt Groening's "Futurama," a series that,...

"The Simpsons" will turn 35 in 2024 -- and like just about any other Millennial, it celebrated becoming a legal adult (with "The Simpsons Movie" in 2007) blissfully unaware of the obstacles awaiting in its future, had a proper quarter-life crisis, and now Disney owns its childhood. Entire empires have risen and fallen since the series began in 1989, and a whole lot of TV shows with them. In point of fact, when the animated institution turned 20 in 2009, a fellow Fox series called "Bones" was only just entering its fifth season, with no idea it was less than halfway done.
To celebrate the occasion, Fox announced it would be paying "homarge" to "The Simpsons" with an on-air scavenger hunt from November 9 -13, 2009. Never one to pass up an opportunity to goose its ratings, the network encouraged its viewers to tune into other Fox series that week and hunt for Easter eggs nodding to Homer,...

Apple TV+ series “Masters of the Air” is the third collaboration from the team behind HBO’s “Band of Brothers” and “The Pacific.” Trio Tom Hanks, Gary Goetzman and Steven Spielberg produced the nine-part World War II epic series, which spotlights the men who fought in the 8th Air Force, specifically the men of the 100th Bomb Group. The vivid and vital story finds roots in the book of the same name by Donald L. Miller.
The crew of a typical Eighth Air Force heavy bomber plane included ten men — a pilot and his co-pilot flying the B17, the navigator and the bombardier in the machine’s nose, the flight engineer behind the pilot, the radio operator, two waist gunners, a ball turret gunner and a tail gunner. Not to mention the men who strategized from the bases, the plane engineers and Tuskegee airmen or Royal Airforce pilots who feature in this story.

There are hundreds of ways to die in a bomber plane and you will see all of them in Apple TV+’s latest war drama series Masters of the Air. From the producers of epic shows like The Pacific and Band of Brothers, we get sort of a third entry in the World War II series by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks. Created by John Shiban and John Orloff, the World War II drama series revolves around the pilots in the 100th Bomb Group, as they take the war to Hitler’s doorsteps.
Like the previous two WWII shows by Spielberg and Hanks, Masters of the Air is also incredibly epic and poignant. From the first few episodes you might think that the Apple TV+ series is just a cool action drama with some really depressing moments but it soon shows us the horrors of war and...

Justine Triet’s new film, which just picked up nominations for Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay, and Director at the Oscars, as well as the Palme d’Or at Cannes last year, is a courtroom drama following a woman accused of killing her husband. The man in question was found dead after falling out of the window of their remote cabin. There were no witnesses. She says she didn’t do it. Did he fall? Did he jump? Or is she guilty? That’s for the court to decide in this fascinating character study that feels intense and real, and challenges the audience to do the work along with the jury.

Mary Weiss, who fronted the influential 1960s-era girl group The Shangri-Las, has died at the age of 75.
Hailing from Queens, New York, The Shangri-Las was composed of two pairs of sisters: Mary and Betty Weiss and Marge and Mary Ann Ganser. As teenagers (Mary was just 15 years old), the quartet signed a record deal Red Bird Records and were teamed with producer George “Shadow” Morton. They experienced almost immediate success, achieving a pair of hit singles in quick succession. Released in August 1964, “Remember (Walking in the Sand)” hit No. 5 in the US and No. 14 in the UK. The following month saw The Shangri-Las climb all the way to No. 1 with “Leader of the Pack.”
By the end of 1964, The Shangri-Las’ popularity had skyrocketed and the group found themselves sharing concert bills with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and James Brown.

This article contains spoilers for season 5, episode 8 of "Fargo." It also deals with domestic violence and reader discretion is advised.
No one expects stories told within the "Fargo" franchise to be light and fluffy, but season 5 of the anthology television series is absolutely brutal. There has been plenty of violence, familial dysfunction, and cruelty in previous seasons of the series, but almost nothing holds a candle to the viciousness of Jon Hamm's Sheriff Roy Tillman. Roy has no problem killing people in order to get his way, much like many of the series' other villains, but he also really has no problem abusing his wives. He even thinks the abuse is fully justified, at one point comparing his second wife Nadine (Juno Temple) to a wild horse that needs to be broken. Nadine managed to escape Roy and lived with a new husband, a new name, and even a daughter,...

"The Simpsons" stopped being a TV show decades ago. It's an institution now. Everyone with even a shred of pop culture literacy can name the core members of the titular family, and millions of others can rattle off a couple dozen residents of Springfield. These characters and their world somehow feel like they've always been around, almost like animation and comedy never actually existed until they did. Generations who grew up in a world where this show was always on, always airing, always available, may not instantly recognize just how much "The Simpsons" shifted television on its axis, but they're living in a world defined by the series' sense of humor, its blend of biting satire, slapstick, and sentiment.
And so it's come to this: /Film decided it was time to select the 25 best episodes of the series. Considering that there are 760 episodes to choose from, this was ... a challenge.

Fun trivia! For its first 12 installments, the annual "Treehouse of Horror" episodes of "The Simpsons" were merely called "The Simpsons Halloween Special." It wouldn't be until 2002 that "The Simpsons" would adopt the more familiar "Treehouse" title for its horror shows.
Starting with the show's second season, the "Simpsons" showrunners used their Halloween episodes to tell shorter, more outlandish stories wherein fantasy elements could be more openly employed, monsters could coexist with the title family, and the characters could die horrible, bloody deaths. For the most part, the "Treehouse of Horror" episodes were anthology shows, with each installment featuring three brief segments, many of them openly ripped off from "The Twilight Zone." Later on, "Treehouse" would be used to lampoon movies in a more general fashion, as when Homer (Dan Castellaneta) and Marge (Julie Kavner) re-enacted the 2005 action film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."

This past weekend, the tragic news came down that the popular "Friends" star Matthew Perry passed away at the age of 54. Most well-known for playing Chandler Bing, the fan-favorite character many considered to be the beating heart of the classic sitcom, the actor's career spanned several decades and included appearances on dozens and dozens of various movies and shows. As the world continues to mourn the loss of such an icon, countless fans have come forward to memorialize his life, legacy, and screen presence outside of the go-to example of "Friends." Although he would never find another starring role quite like the one he enjoyed on the show that made his name and turned him into one of the most famous popular figures around the globe, Perry went on to make an undeniable impact wherever his journey took him until the end.

Kylie Jenner got up and worked: The mogul is a guest voice on this year’s “Treehouse of Horror” episode of “The Simpsons,” and Variety has a first look below. We don't have to worry about The Simpsons being cancelled on Fox for the moment since the popular series has already been renewed for a 36th season. Since Disney now owns the show, could season 36 be the series' final year on the network? Stay tuned.
An animated family comedy series, The Simpsons TV show stars the voices of Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria, and Harry Shearer. The long-running animated show, The Simpsons, has returned yet again with its 35th season, and the show still seems to be going strong. With Matt Groening coming back as the voice of the balding and potbellied Homer Simpson, the first episode of the season presents Homer with a new opportunity. Yet again, like countless times before, Homer becomes selfish and greedy. But will he receive his just comeuppance in the end?

What Is Homer’s New Duty?
The episode opens with a scene that could pass for that of He-Man, with a hero looking straight out of Conan the Barbarian, slashing orcs and then flying away on a winged Pegasus. As it turns out, it’s no mythical hero after all, but the perpetually stoned Otto, the bus driver, zooming away in the Springfield school bus after finishing an entire tray of acid brownies. In the next school meeting,...

With its 11 Best Animated Program wins and 24 Emmy victories elsewhere, “The Simpsons” certainly isn’t hurting for attention from the TV academy. Nevertheless, the clear consensus among Gold Derby users is that it’s time for the Fox staple to triumph in the top animation category once more. Its dozenth animated program win would specifically be for its 33rd annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode, which would only be the fourth one ever nominated there. At this point, the series’ Halloween specials have brought it no competitive Emmys at all, but that will finally change if our odds prove correct.
The newest special, “Treehouse of Horror Xxxiii,” aired one day before Halloween 2022 and, as usual, consists of three unrelated segments. It is the first without an opening scene and the second (after Season 27’s) to have been directly preceded by a non-“Treehouse of Horror” Halloween episode (“Not It”). For the first time in 20 years,...

The effect of The Simpsons on pop culture can’t be overstated. In the early nineties, the show tapped into the cultural zeitgeist in a way few others had before. Indeed, no other cartoon show could reasonably emulate it- but Hollywood couldn’t help but try. Capitol Critters, Family Dog, and Fish Police were just a few of the shows that tried to be “the new Simpsons.” Still, the only one that really came close was ABC’s The Critic, starring the voice of Jon Lovitz as Jay Sherman, perhaps the world’s least-loved film critic and the subject of this Gone But Not Forgotten episode.
Unlike other wannabe animated hits, The Critic could boast a legit connection to The Simpsons, with it also being a production of James L. Brooks’ Gracie Films. At the same time, creators Al Jean and Mike Reiss had been showrunners on The Simpsons during...

Hong Chau will be looking to round off a pretty good year by snagging her first-ever Emmy nomination. This would come after she claimed her first Oscar bid, which came in Best Supporting Actress for “The Whale.” That was for her moving performance opposite Brendan Fraser in Darren Aronofsky‘s film. But, now, on the TV side of things, she will be competing for Best Comedy Guest Actress for Rian Johnson‘s “Poker Face.”
The Peacock episodic murder-mystery show follows Natasha Lyonne as Charlie, a young woman who goes on the run from a casino following a suspicious death. On her journey, she encounters various, mysterious new cases and uses her unbelievable ability to figure out if somebody is lying to help solve the murder. The show follows a case-of-the-week format and introduces new characters and guest actors every week, who are all a treat to watch. And none more so than Chau.

After the surprising rise and appallingly steady excellence of The Simpsons’ first decade, many long-time supporters felt the show would have gone out on top if it ended around 2001-2002. The late 1990s era was hit with a traumatic loss with the death of comic genius Phil Hartman. After a pay dispute, voice actress Maggie Roswell left from 1999 to 2002, resulting in the death of the Maude Flanders in the episode “Alone Again, Natura-Diddily.” But the first cracks in the series’ “Golden Age” appeared when Principal Skinner was redacted and retrofitted for “The Principal and the Pauper,” from season 9. It was seen as a major copout.

This The Simpsons review contains spoilers.
The Simpsons Season 34 Episode 18
The Simpsons tries to prove music can be more than just revenge, but then it gets a little cringey, and turns superfans into stalker fans. “Fan-ily Feud” appears to take on the army of a certain former country singer gone pop goddess, whose name would probably be better left unsaid, but that would only spur the ire of BTS stans, justifiably requesting rebuttal. The episode would have benefited from a guest appearance from Taylor Swift, but if it hadn’t gone right, her next seven albums might have targeted the series as a bad breakup, a win-win situation, to be sure, for everyone involved.
The Simpsons have been making entreaties to Swift since Bart wrote “Thank you for 28 great years… Taylor Swift” on the chalkboard in “Dogtown,” season 28’s season finale. Lisa must have kept her as her number 2 Google alert.

The ‘90s were the decade of The Simpsons, sorry Seinfeld. The family was introduced in 1987 through a series of short clips in between skits on Fox’s The Tracey Ullman Show, overstayed their welcome and were spun off. The series debuted on Dec. 17, 1989 with a holiday special, “Simpsons Roasting on An Open Fire,” before hopping on the rotisserie of regular rotation on Jan. 14, 1990 with “Bart the Genius,” directed by David Silverman, and written by Jon Vitti.
The half-hour animated series was created by Matt Groening, who came up with it as a last-second pitch to foil his own plan to animate his comic strip Life in Hell. The Simpsons was produced by TV legend James L. Brooks, who drove The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Taxi, and Sam Simon, who wrote for Taxi and Cheers.
The voice talent continued over from the shorts. Dan Castellaneta performed the voices of Homer Simpson,...

A tech-savvy fan of The Simpsons has used digital processing to unearth a joke that has gone unheard for 33 years.
The joke in question comes in the classic season three episode “The Otto Show”, but had previously been inaudable.
In the episode, Marge is seen warning Bart over the volume of a rock concert he is attending, remarking: “I hope the Spinal Taps don’t play too loud.”
Homer then responds: “Oh Marge, I went to thousands of heavy metal concerts, and it never hurt me.”
The next shot shows Marge replying from Homer’s perspective, in which her voice is entirely drowned out by the sound of tinitus.
On the DVD commentary for the episode, the show’s creators had remarked that Marge was in fact saying some “pretty funny” dialogue, which “took a long time to write” but was then “mixed down so nobody could hear it”.

Peacock’s weekly murder mystery from creator Rian Johnson has completed debut season, with audiences comfortable with its howcatchem format, episodic cast overhauls, and Charlie’s (Natasha Lyonne) innate ability to know when people are lying. The series was renewed for a second season, promising Charlie’s prolonged survival — and the return of that irresistible Plymouth Barracuda.
