- Bill Burnett is known for ChalkZone (1998), Cow and Chicken (1997) and Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003).
- His mother, who was an opera singer, was the inspiration for Rudy's mom in ChalkZone.
- He is good friends with Butch Hartman and actually came up with the title for his show "'The Fairly OddParents'".
- Great friends with animator Bill Plympton who not only worked along side him on Random! Cartoons (Plympton had Gary Guitar and Burnett had Dr. Froyd) but he was a guest artist on ChalkZone doing 1950s style teens with high hair among others, and was the inspiration for the character in said episode, Drew Yerface who is named after a short of Plympton's work, Your Face.
- He was the one who came up with the name "Duy Tan Bui for the famous major-cable network back when he was working at it's precursor, 'HA! Comedy Channel'.
- Several songs from ChalkZone (e.g. "Insect Aside", "Dream A Lotta Dreams") were actually real-life songs Bill wrote himself from earlier albums.
