Updated: There has been another round of content removal from Disney+, this time in the Emea region, which consists of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. More than 120 titles have been taken off this week, primarily Disney Channel original movies and vintage Disney live-action films, as well as a few series, including Zeke and Luther, Pepper Ann, So Random and the first three seasons of Nat Geo’s Genius and ESPN/Nat Geo docs.
According to sources, the takedowns were a result of a library title review. There have been several content purges at Disney+ over the last year amid cost-cutting, most notably the removal of a slew of original series last May.
Here is a list of movie titles that are said to be gone from Disney+ in Emea, compiled by Drew Ryan.

Spanish rapper C. Tangana sat at a table covered in fruits and wine and looked ready for a feast when he took the stage at the 2021 Latin Grammys to perform “Ingobernable” with his family of collaborators. The ensemble sang and clapped along during the flamenco-inspired performance, which also included Nathy Peluso and Natalia Lafourcade.
Tangana is nominated for five Latin Grammy Awards this year, among the most of any artist, and has already picked up wins for Best Engineered Album (El Madrileño), Best Alternative Song (“Nominao” featuring Jorge Drexler), and...

Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo dominated the announcement of the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards nominations, garnering 10, including nods in all three top categories — album of the year (for “Mis Manos”), record of the year (for “Vida de Rico” and “Amen”) and song of the year (for “Vida de Rico” and “Dios Así Lo Quiso”).
Also faring well with multiple nods were Dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra with six, Spanish rapper C. Tangana with five and Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny with four.
Most of these top-nominated artists have enjoyed multiple trips to the podium in previous years— especially Guerra, a 20-time Latin Grammy winner. C. Tangana and Bad Bunny have won twice before. But with his staggering 10 nominations this year, Camilo comes into the ceremony only ever having won once before, for last year’s best pop song (his acceptance appearance is pictured above).
The 22nd annual show airs on Univision Nov. 18 live at 8 p.

“It’s something we have in our soul,” says León Larregui, the frontman of Mexico’s celebrated alt-rock band Zoé. “We’re telepathically connected, even from far away and without speaking.” That uncanny bond between Larregui and his bandmates — one he calls a “karmic sonic identity” — informed the band’s seventh album, Sonidos de Karmática Resonancia (or Sounds of Karmic Resonance), out April 16th. “Our songs, some of which we wrote separately, would even have the same notes,” he continues. “It’s like we’re channeling from the same source.

Rosalía’s El Mal Querer, an impressive fusion of old-school flamenco and hyper-modern electronic production, won Album of the Year at the Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday night in Las Vegas. Rosalía produced the album with El Guincho, and despite minimal radio play Stateside, it has earned around 40 million streams in the U.S. this year, according to the analytics company Alpha Data.
Rosalía was competing against Sebastián Yatra, Tony Succar, Ximena Sariñana, Alejandro Sanz, Luis Fonsi, Fonseca, Andrés Calamaro, Rubén Blades and Paula Arenas. Notably absent this year were...

Alejandro Sanz and Camila Cabello’s “Mi Persona Favorita” took home Record of the Year at the Latin Grammys. The saccharine acoustic ballad appeared earlier this year on Sanz’s new album, #Eldisco, and the singer performed it in Las Vegas on Thursday.
The odds were in Sanz’s favor in this category: He was nominated twice. In general, the category was dominated by seasoned performers: Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra and Juanes were all up for the award along with Sanz. Anthony, a salsa star, was nominated for his first Grammy in 1996. Guerra,...

The Latin Recording Academy has announced the nominees for the 20th annual Latin Grammy Awards with Flamenco pop star Rosalia (pictured) claiming the title of most recognized female artist with five nominations. But she has competition in Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, who takes the lead for most nominations with eight — three of which are shared with Camila Cabello.
“Mi Persona Favorita,” a collaborative project between Sanz and Cabello, the latter of Cuban heritage, earned the duo recognitions in the categories for best pop song, song of the year and record of the year. Rosalia’s song “Aute Couture” also earned her a nomination for song of the year.
Sanz’s song “No Tengo Nada” also landed him two nominations in the categories for record of the year and song of the year. Rosalia and J Balvin’s collaboration on the smash hit “Con Altura” earned her and the Colombian artist...
