- He was born in Savannah, Georgia but was raised in Cerritos, California. He attended Oklahoma State University as an All-American football player before becoming a pro wrestler known as ``The Harlem Warlord.'' He broke into the acting world when a casting director discovered him while working out in a local gym. He is survived by his father, mother, grandparents and four children.
