The late Loren Adelson Singer, who passed away in 2009, has published several novels as an author, among them That’s the House, There (1973), Boca Grande (1974), and Making Good (1993). His first work, 1970’s The Parallax View, published by Doubleday, was written as an answer to his disdain for the printing business he worked at with his father-in-law and proved to be enough of a success to permit him to become a paid author. The inspiration for the book came from the covert operations he assisted in while training with the Office of Strategic Services and was penned following the high-profile political assassinations of the 1960’s. It also provided the blueprint for the film of the same title directed by the late Alan J. Pakula, the second in his informally named “paranoia trilogy,” bookended by Klute (1971) and All the President’s Men...

Walt Disney, Frank Capra, Whitney Houston, Billie Holiday, Johnny Cash and Alex Trebek are among the entertainment industry figures who have been added as proposed honorees in the National Garden of American Heroes monument project unveiled by President Donald Trump in July.
As he began his final 48 hours as President, Trump issued an amended executive order Monday that added dozens of names slated to be honored in the the planned statuary park. The location for the park has yet to be determined. Trump first announced the plan on July 3 during his speech at Mt. Rushmore.

Hey, "FBI" fans. We are back at you again to serve up some new spoilery scoops for next week's new,upcoming 5th episode of this current season 2. We hope you guys got a kick out of watching tonight's episode 4. It's in the rear view mirror now. So, it's time to look forward, and CBS is helping us do that with a brand new press release for episode 5. It contains a couple of important teaser descriptions. So, we will be sharing those with you guys in this spoiler session. To start things off, we've got an official title for episode 5. It is called, "Crossroads." It's not one of the most original titles we've heard, but it gets the job done.
