It's often that killers are hiding in plain sight, knowing for a fact they'd never get caught. The killer Rosewood Season 2 Episode 8 had most of us fooled, but there was no way they'd be able to outsmart Villa and Rosie.
Ricky Dawson was a beloved man in the inner city of Miami. He grew up in the Saint Mels group home and vouched to never end up in a life a crime. He did just that.
Dawson decided to own and operate his own food truck and even employed a few kids from the group home to help keep them out of trouble.
So when Ricky was found brutally beaten and murdered, who would want to harm the guy?
Slade: You running away like a little bitch?
Duane: I run from nothing.

What's the price are you willing to pay for beauty?
On Rosewood Season 2 Episode 7, we learn how far some will go just to feel accepted and loved, which inevitably, turns deadly.
Promising model Carina Radnor seemed to have the fashion and modeling industry in the palm of her hands. Unfortunately, Carina was unhappy with her life, as well as her outer appearance.
If a doormat had a doormat, it'd be Carina.

We first meet Carina at a photo shoot, where she blatantly tells her boss, fashion honcho, Ronna Burke that she could no longer do the whole modeling thing. She was tired of pretending to be happy in a world that's filled with faux looks and attitudes.
Carina had gotten multiple plastic surgeries to fit into the mold of a model, but it no longer made her happy.

Ahoy mateys!
Didn't anyone else feel like going on a treasure hunt while watching Rosewood Season 2 Episode 4?
"Boatopsy & Booty" was filled with a lot of pirate references and ended with an interesting twist, which Rosewood is always good for doing.
For starters, Hornstock's daughter Sophie was visiting the department to shadow her dad. Sophie's currently in the police academy and wanted to get the feel of being in the police force.
Wait, you didn't tell her about the whole demotion thing?

Hornstock still feels ashamed about being demoted from Captain to Detective. He wanted to put on this facade for Sophie so she wouldn't be disappointed in her father.
Ironically, Slade went on with the charade for a little bit, to help Hornstock save face. I'm surprised Slade wanted to help Hornstock put on a front with Sophie.
