So tragic! A couple and their infant died from bullet wounds after what police believe to be a murder-suicide. Their 5-year-old daughter survived the tragedy by hiding from her parents when she heard them arguing and running to get help after hearing gunshots.
Benyam Asefa, 40, Barbara Giomarelli, 42, and their 3-month-old son Samuel, were found dead in their New Market, Maryland on Nov. 20 of an apparent murder-suicide. The couple’s 5-year-old daughter was not injured because she hid when she heard her parents fighting — and later ran to the neighbors to get help.
