- William Clemens was born on September 10, 1905 in Saginaw, Michigan, USA. He was a director and editor, known for Missing Witnesses (1937), Talent Scout (1937) and The Night of January 16th (1941). He died on April 29, 1980 in Los Angeles County, California, USA.
- American director of second features. A former editor, he was signed to a five-year contract at Warner Brothers in 1936, during which he handled several of the Nancy Drew mysteries. After 1941 he worked at Paramount and RKO, for the latter notably on four installments of "The Falcon"' series starring Tom Conway.
