Exclusive: Shawn Levy, who recently re-upped his 21 Laps production banner for three years at 20th Century Fox, is negotiating with former Paramount Pictures executive vice president Dan Levine to become president of the production company. Levy, whose Steve Carell-Tina Fey-comedy Date Night opens Friday, met several strong candidates before zeroing in on Levine. The prexy post was vacant since last year, when Tom McNulty exited. Levine will join veep Billy Rosenberg and creative exec Missy Foster. Levy will also bring aboard Dan Cohen as director of development. Cohen most recently worked for Sidney Kimmel.
